💪 3 Quick Desk Exercises to Beat Stiffness — Osteopath-Approved! 🧠✨

Long hours at your desk can leave your muscles tense and your posture suffering — but just a few minutes of movement can make a huge difference 👇

1️⃣ Chair Tricep Dips
Place your hands on the edge of your chair (make sure it’s stable!) and lower yourself slightly, keeping your elbows close. This activates your triceps, opens the chest, and encourages better shoulder mechanics — great for counteracting that rounded “desk posture.”

2️⃣ Desk Push-Ups
Stand at arm’s length from your desk, place your hands shoulder-width apart, and perform controlled push-ups. This gently engages the upper body and promotes thoracic extension — helping you undo the effects of slouching.

3️⃣ Upper Trap Stretch
Sit tall, grasp the edge of your chair with one hand, and gently tilt your head to the opposite side. Hold for 20–30 seconds each side. This releases tension in the upper trapezius and neck — common areas of strain with prolonged sitting.

✨ Osteopathic tip: Movement restores balance. Even small breaks throughout your day help maintain healthy joint motion, reduce muscle fatigue, and support your body’s natural alignment.
