Why Nueva Vida?
Nueva vida means new life which explains why I do what I do and for who I do it.
In 2015 I had a complete mental health crisis. I drove home from my “successful career” as a senior midwife and decided I’d rather kill myself than go back in to work the next day. My recovery has been long, sometimes hard and often frustrating, but I can honestly look back now and be so pleased with how I’ve handled the journey.
Changes obviously needed to be made but 1 thing I knew through it all is that I had always wanted to be and would remain a midwife until the day I leave this earth. I also knew that the NHS was no longer a place I wanted to be.
I’ve trained in complementary therapies and their specific use for pregnancy, birth and new motherhood. Along the way I’ve also found the awesome power of the simple NLP techniques that can bring about massive changes and trained as a hypnotherapist and hypnotherapy trainer. I am completely mobile and work a rough 20 mile radius of Sevenoaks, Kent. Through the power of technology I can also provide my NLP and hypnotherapy skills via telephone or video call.
