It's our last clinic day today before we finish for the Christmas holiday - but there's still plenty of time to buy gift vouchers for full or part payment for treatments including physiotherapy, massage or acupuncture. If you pay by Bank Transfer and are happy to receive the voucher by email, then we can issue them up to midday on Wednesday 24th December.

In all my years working as a physio in professional football I have never seen a goalie need to take a penalty (except when training of course!)

Don’t be put off by the signs! You can still access the Physio Works clinic in Lapford approaching from the A377. There is a diversion via Eastington if you are approaching from the north.

Today is "blue Monday" which is thought to be the most depressing day of the year. Did you know that exercise, as well as being good for us physically, it is also good for us mentally. Exercise is a natural mood booster, it lowers stress levels and improves energy levels. Any amount of exercise is better than nothing, but ideally we should be doing least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week, that's just over 20 minutes a day. If you are driving to Lapford for a physiotherapy appointment this week via the A377, don’t be put off by the “Road Closed” signs, you can still get to us from the south. The road is closed from Forches to Orchard Cross (there is still access to the carpark at Orchard Cross). Clients coming from the north (Chawleigh/Witheridge direction) there is a diversion in place via Eastington, please allow a few minutes extra for your journey.

If you have an appointment with us for physiotherapy, acupuncture or massage between 20th-24th Jan please be aware that once again we have roadworks to the north of Lapford. The road will be closed between Orchard Cross and Forches with a diversion in place via Eastington. If your journey takes you that way then please allow extra time for your journey. Access to the clinic via the A377 is not affected.

If you're attending an appointment this week and your journey brings you to Lapford from the north (Chawleigh / Witheridge direction) please allow a few minutes extra for your journey as the road is closed from Forches Cross to the top of Lapford village between 9.30am-3.30pm. A diversion is in place via Eastington Lane.
