Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2026 🥳

Over the last decade, one of the most common things people say to me is “I eat really healthy and yet I can’t lose weight ”

I don’t post a lot, mainly because I don’t feel the need; and because among an awful a lot of junk and misinformation there is also some really good information already available such as this short video that will answer why you may not be losing weight or gaining weight depending on your goals.

Protein is great but you can get it much cheaper than the big brands want you to think and from a lot of different sources which are far less processed too 💪🏼

Did you know most of your suffering is confirming you are safe?

The short version is to be very clear about the reason for your suffering

If it is in the room with you then it is very real and demands your attention

If it is not in the room with you, then your mind has wandered to the realms of memory or imagination

The longer version - only when now is completely safe does the mind have the option to wander across time and we can learn a powerful lesson from this

In an emergency, all of your resources and attention are required to deal with the situation

99% of our lives we do not face these situations and forget that we are often completely safe

In fact, so safe that your security guard decides to wander off and dig up your past or worry about your future because it can stand down for a moment

When you are aware of this you really get to understand that most of the time nothing is wrong and you are suffering the movies of your mind and the emotions they create

The fastest way to ground yourself here is with 3 simple questions -

1 - Where am I?
2 - What am I doing?
3 - How do I feel?

These aim to bring your conscious attention back to this moment and the illusion of something you have to deal with falls away once you realise this

Reminding yourself you are completely safe will also have a powerful impact on other areas of your life, if you find you are always wired, on edge, or anxious for no reason
