This evening, my patient was a 21 year old man who previously had his toenail removed, but it had grown back deformed & detached from the nail plate. He also has autism & does not tolerate the nippers well due to sensory issues.
Pressure due to thickness of the nail was causing pain but he was anxious about treatment.
Treatment was tailored to what he could tolerate & I'm very happy to say, he is now pain free 👣
