Today is Social Prescribing Day, a chance to recognise the amazing work Social Prescribers do and the difference they make in people’s lives. From helping someone who feels isolated reconnect with their community, to supporting families facing financial hardship by linking them with local services and support, Social Prescribers are often the listening ear people need during difficult times.

Although our Alternative Solutions Social Prescribing service is soon to be coming to an end, we’re incredibly proud of the impact the team has made and the thousands of lives they’ve supported along the way. A huge thank you to all the Social Prescribers we’ve worked with over the years. Your compassion and dedication has made a real difference.

Re-Fresh Knutsford took place on Saturday, with Janette helping visitors learn more about One You Cheshire East and the free programmes available to support healthier lifestyles.

Janette will also be at the Health & Wellbeing Fayre at Congleton Town Hall tomorrow from 10am until 2pm, so please come along to say hello and find out more about the support available.
