Meet Karen, our Infection Control Lead here at The Orchards 👋
Karen is a Health Care Assistant who plays a vital role in protecting the health and wellbeing of our residents, visitors, and staff. As Infection Control Lead, she works closely with the team to ensure infection prevention measures are followed throughout the home and that best practice is always maintained.
Her role includes monitoring infection control compliance, supporting and delivering staff training, and keeping up to date with guidance to help prevent and manage infections. Karen also provides advice and reassurance to staff, helping everyone feel confident in their infection control responsibilities.
Karen is the go-to person if you have any infection control concerns or need guidance, including:
