At The Orchards we strive to provide just that, giving you the peace of mind that your loved ones will be well cared for at all times. We offer round-the-clock care, including nursing services, so you’ll never have to worry – the right care and expertise will always be on hand to help. The Orchards likes to operate an open door visiting policy to encourage family and friends to stop by at any time. The modern layout provides plenty of space for both social interaction and privacy with separate lounges, a dining room and spacious gardens with raised flower beds. A comprehensive activity and entertainment programme is provided, and a wide range of participatory activities are available to the residents including away-days visiting local sites. We also enjoy close links with Henhayes Community Centre to offer additional activities for residents to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to make their rooms their own, by bringing personal items and furniture. This puts residents at ease and makes them as comfortable as possible. All the bedrooms have ensuite facilities and a television. Telephone points can be fitted to every bedroom. The site also offers additional services, including personal laundry and hairdressing. We also offer a day care service as a way for carers to catch up on daily errands while enriching their relative’s day with a short-term change of environment. The opportunity for socialisation as well as easy access to additional services is especially beneficial for the less mobile. Discover more about our day care service.

🌟 Meet Our Team: Kerry – Senior Activities Coordinator at The Orchards 🌟

Say hello to Kerry, our wonderful Senior Activities Coordinator!

Kerry began her journey at The Orchards as a Care Assistant in 2008 and holds a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care. She loves bringing joy to our residents, organising exciting day trips, and seeing everyone have fun. Kerry is always happy to support in any role, helping wherever she’s needed to make sure our home runs smoothly.

I’m sure you can see what Kerry gets up to – she helps run our page and is always up to something fun with her team and the residents!

She says that working at The Orchards feels like being part of one big team, and she truly enjoys every moment of it.

Outside of work, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family and tackling jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.

We believe intergenerational events like this are so important to us because they bring different generations together, creating meaningful connections, sparking joy, and helping everyone feel part of a community.
