What we do

Thank you for visiting our page. We are a small, friendly osteopathic practice that has been treating patients in Cricklade and the surrounding areas for just under 40 years. While we don’t claim to be able to treat everything or everyone, osteopathy can often help more conditions than people realise. As well as the common back pain, sciatica and sports injuries, these include headaches arising from the neck, migraine prevention, circulatory problems and conditions affecting babies and children. For a full list of what we can treat please go to https://www.crickladeosteopaths.com/why-osteopathy

All osteopaths complete a four or five year degree course at one of the established osteopathic colleges. Many of the subjects covered are similar to those of medical schools, such as anatomy, neurology, orthopaedics, physiology and pathophysiology. These subjects, along with many hours of practical training lead to a BSc degree in Osteopathy. This training ensures that we are able to check for signs of conditions Osteopathy cannot treat and will refer you to your GP or specialist if we suspect any such conditions.

As important as the hands-on treatment, is the individual advice that the osteopath will give each patient to improve their health long term. This holistic approach may include advice regarding posture, work ergonomics, diet and lifestyle along with corrective exercises programmes.

Please feel free to message or call us if you would like to discuss an appointment and how we could help you. We would love to hear from you.
