Et voilà
The Christmas window is complete. I am so pleased I decided to blow the dust off my dolls house and make it 'The Star of the Show" ☺️
There is also a lot of new stock which arrived whilst I was off poorly. I have now managed to price it all up and it is all out. The new stuff includes Christmas room sprays, Christmas incense, Buddha artwork, Macramè wall hangings, brass buddha figures, wellness/mindfulness journals and relaxation beads.
I also have Christmas gift boxes arriving soon. More about them to follow......

Good morning everyone, what a beautiful morning. I am feeling so much better today and am happy to report my wee shop will be open again from tomorrow (Wednesday). I have my Christmas window half done so far, it's still a work in progress! Hubby and I moved the dolls house from home yesterday and boy what a job. It is so heavy it was definitely a two man job. Then I had to secure every item in place so nothing fell over when transferring it into the window, it took me 3 hours! 😵‍💫 However I am delighted with the result and hope you like it too. Here are a few photo's from yesterday's efforts so far 🙂

Good morning from Reiki Life HQ. I have been quiet of late on here. Sometimes life just gets in the way and time flies by!

I have had so many people pop in and tell me how much they liked my Autumn window and I am grateful to you all for taking the time to comment.

I have now emptied the window in preparation for the Christmas one going in. The window cleaner came this morning and cleaned inside and out. It is now gleaming and I feel like I am in a bit of a gold fish bowl lol! It is probably going to take a few days to complete as unfortunately I am under the weather and decided to do a COVID test and yep, it's positive. So the progress will be slower than normal. Not wanting to pass this on to anyone the shop will be closed this week. You may see me in from time to time so give me a wave if you are passing x

I'm sorry to my clients that I have had to cancel but thankfully you understand, which is very much appreciated 🙏

I've included a couple of photo's just to give you a little sneaky peak at what's to come, I hope you will like it when it's finished and there will be a sugar mouse in there somewhere 😉

Good morning from Reiki Life HQ, October flew by and it is my hope that November does too as it is not my favourite month of the year. I suffer a wee bit from S.A.D. I find November to be a dark month in more ways than one. I'm sure it's not just me.

This time last year I was far away from Crieff on a bit of an adventure.

Many of you know that my hubby Peter and I (Avril) are the P and A of P&A Eyecare . Well last October Peter finally retired. The thought terrified him to be honest and he put off and put off until I stepped in and organised something a bit radical! I organised a three month stay in Portugal. Driving all the way. Taking Meet Montgomery with us. It was indeed quite the adventure. We motored down through Scotland, England, France, Spain (stayed in a castle there which was awesome) and down to Algarve. The time there was a chance to slow down and recharge and enjoy some sunshine and endless trips to the beach with Monty who swam every single day. We have a longstanding affinity with Algarve but that wasn't the only reason for going.
At the beginning of November 2024 I did my Reiki Level 2 training. Finding the right person was so very important and after much research over many months in and around Scotland I somehow discovered Heidi Miller - Reiki Master not too far from where we were to be staying in Portugal. It was obviously meant to be.

A year later, here I am bringing Reiki to Crieff. Reiki is a truly wonderful complimentary therapy that changed my life for the better and I know it can help others.

Well it really saddens me to be writing this but it would appear Coille nan Sìth wasn't the only shop that had sticky fingered folks in yesterday! I have items missing also. Did anyone else have things stolen yesterday? We know it was a woman with two children and the most despicable part was the children were in on it. Imagine that, it beggars belief. What a life they are destined for!

My wee gift boxes have the same amount of items in each, today I realised that one of them (the one on the right, just out of shot of the security camera!) had two items missing. I'm lucky that the missing items from my shop were not of high value. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the item taken from Coille nan Sìth.

Independent shops are working hard to stay open in very challenging times. Your support is vital to their survival. Stealing from them really is the lowest of the low!

Troubles come and troubles go but some seem to stay longer than we would wish. So many people that I have seen recently came because they are suffering with stress and/or anxiety because of the way of the world at the moment. This is not a political post. It's just a post to say there is still so much to be grateful for if we take a few moments to step back and look for the little things. Kindness is out there is many guises. A moment of kindness could make a difference to someone's day. Just for today be kind to yourself and others. Keep your little light shining bright 🙏
