Yesterday we buttered up National Croissant Day in the best way 🥐✨
Residents enjoyed a delicious mix of filled croissants – savoury favourites with cheese and ham, plus sweet treats stuffed with biscotti, jam, and chocolate spread 😋

As if that wasn’t enough fun, staff and some residents later donned some very snazzy wigs for Wig Day 🎭💇‍♀️ Cue plenty of giggles, big smiles, and lots of laughter shared all round. What a joyful day! 💛

Today, our residents went on their monthly armchair travel all the way to Switzerland 🇨🇭✨
From taking in the beautiful Swiss sights to trying our hand at yodelling, reading a famous Swiss folk tale, enjoying a fun quiz, and of course sampling some yummy Swiss chocolate 🍫—it was a day full of smiles.
The journey was topped off with a delicious Swiss-inspired lunch.
A wonderful day of travel without leaving home! 💙✈️

Yesterday was one of those heart-warming days 💛
Our residents enjoyed music and movement with Amber of Twinkle Toes Norfolk made even more special by the visit from three lovely little ones who came along to join in. The laughter, smiles, and gentle moments shared filled the room with so much warmth.

Seeing different generations connect like this is truly special — a beautiful reminder of just how important intergenerational relationships are. Moments like these stay with us for a long time 🎶💃🧡 Thank you Amber and Friend in Deed for lovely session ❤️

In the spirit of Australia Day we spent the morning exploring Australia through videos – learning about amazing animals and dreaming of places to visit 🐨🌏 – before trying two iconic Aussie snacks: Vegemite and fairy bread! 🍞✨

Later in the day we welcomed the lovely Rachel into our home to sing for the residents 🎶 Some joined in with the singing and a couple were even up dancing 💃🕺 Such a great atmosphere and a really joyful day all round!

It’s been a busy (and slightly messy!) time in the gardening club as some of our residents came together to make fat balls for the bird feeders 🥰🐦
They’ve been hung up alongside extra seed around the garden, all ready for the Big Garden Bird Watch. Now we’re set to sit back, enjoy the view, and tally up all the different birds popping in for a snack.
We can’t wait to see who visits! 🌱✨

So much joy in the building today! 🥰
Michelle brought her adorable guinea pigs Cuddly Cavies in to visit our residents, and it was all cuddles, smiles, and happy moments.
Everyone loved being able to feed them, gently stroke them, and spend some calm, cozy time together. 🐹💛

Our residents had a grate time celebrating National Cheese Day yesterday! 🧀😄 A wide variety of cheeses were sampled, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the different flavors and sharing lots of smiles. A delicious day enjoyed by all!

Barry and Ashley had a wonderful time today going through the reminiscence box 😊
There were many laughs, especially when we blew up the whoopie cushion and let out the noise — which sparked a great conversation between these two gentlemen!
We also enjoyed looking at other items such as the tin can phone, kaleidoscope and tiddlywinks, before checking out some old adverts.
It was truly lovely to hear Barry and Ashley sharing memories and talking about the past 💬✨
