Weaving with Seasons & working with nature …. Going back to our roots April /May outside at the pier, park, beach.
(1)

My first encounter into Yoga was in Thailand, whilst traveling back in 2000. I remember walking in to this open studio, surrounded by palm trees and nature, over looking the crystal clear waters of the beautiful Andaman Sea. The feeling of this place & the energy was sheer bliss & I hadn't even started the practice!!!! After my first practice of a gentle Hatha yoga, something was born, something ignited within, I wanted to learn more & go deeper into myself. From then on I continued experiencing different styles, preferably attending Ashtanga. The more i practiced, the more I noticed I was transforming within myself, becoming more calm, connected, high on energy, yet at the same time grounded and gathered, along with my physically body, becoming more flexible & soft. Yoga has supported me though, depths of anxiety, grief, pregnancy, birth, and now the menopause. My MAT is my go to, practicing on a regular basis enables me to sustain a balance of mental & physical wellbeing. Through all of my teachings, Ive now created my own style combining practices that weave in with the seasons, leaning into the energies of the space, environment & light, enabling me to teach what I feel is right for that very moment, My inner knowing guides me, sharing a practice which is meant for the moment, enabling all to fully immerse into an embodied experience, leaving students connected, revitalised and whole. My YOGA sessions - Hatha Flow Vinyasa style Yoga, (spring / summer ) Soft restorative Yin, (autumn / winter ) are all Intuitively led, with a freestyle approach, Synchronising breath with movement, flowing from one asana (position) to another. "what comes - we practice"

60 mins of Grounding, Connecting & becoming one, with yourself and the Universe.

£7.50 per class

There have been so many times I’ve opened social media & because of my algorithm, it’s usually yoga & the first thing I see is perfection.

The perfect physique & flawless practice.
Every Sanskrit word recited with ease.
Endless classes, endless trainings, expensive leggings.
Certificates stacked upon certificates, don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking any of it. It’s beautiful to grow, to study, to deepen your teaching. Everyone is walking their own path.
But “SOCIAL MEDIA” is POWERFUL . Its so easy for it to become impressionable, planting seeds of doubt, making us question whether what we’re doing is enough, igniting feelings, like we’re falling short, or somehow “fake,” or not quite right.
I’ve had to gently remind myself what being a yoga teacher actually means to me, it’s about holding space.
Guiding gently.
Meeting people where they are.
Being compassionate, kind, and human.
It’s the smile.
The feeling of being held.
The hug at the end.
The sense of community all things I experienced from my teacher 🧡 You taught me well. .. x

You don’t have to have all the things.
You don’t have to look a certain way.
You don’t have to prove yourself.

Being you is enough.
Being me is more than enough.
I’m deeply inspired by how far I’ve come to stand in this place and I’m no longer willing to let anything outside of me dim that light.
Mine & yours journey is a continued unfolding. We are always learning, growing, and evolving in every role and relationship we step into.

And that, to me, is real yoga 🤍

If you want real, be prepared to do the work because life, relationships, and even business all move through different seasons.

As a mother, wife, friend, and business owner, I’ve learned that leadership doesn’t look like having it all figured out. It looks like staying present, taking responsibility for your inner world, and showing up with honesty especially when things feel uncomfortable & go to s**t.

Our relationships at home, in friendship, and in work are all mirrors. They reflect where our patterns surface, where our edges are, and where healing is still being invited. This can be confronting, and feel deeply uncomfortable but it’s also where growth lives.

In community and in business, self-leadership means communication over avoidance, curiosity over blame, and values over ego. It’s being willing to pause, reflect, and respond rather than react.

Strong, sustainable businesses aren’t built on perfection either. They’re built on trust, integrity, boundaries, and people who are willing to do their own inner work because how we lead ourselves is how we lead others.

The truth is, whether in relationships or business, we’re here to learn from one another. Growth asks us to ride the waves together, to do the work individually and collectively, and choose connection over perfection.

Self-leadership is choosing to be real.
In our homes.
In our friendships.
In our communities.
And in the work we bring into the world.
Growth isn’t a destination, it’s a continued journey, always learning and unfolding, whether as parents, partners, friends, or leaders.

Everyday the sunsets, know that tomorrow is a new day to reset & relearn..

Big shout-out to the guys 👊

You showing up and we love to see it 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Yoga has so many benefits for our mind, body, and spirit.

For years, yoga has been labelled as a middle-class practice for women… or “old women.”
It’s been judged as fairy, fluffy, and overly feminine, but honestly, it’s quite the opposite.

Yes, we encourage love and devotion to yourself and why bloody well not?
You don’t get given this magnificent human body to think anything less of yourself.

When we come to the mat together equally we learn so much.
We understand ourselves more, and we understand each other more.
At the core, we are the same.

It’s only our external identities that have been shamed and boxed in, limiting our experiences.

Yoga breaks those boxes.
And that’s powerful.

2016 was the year I decided I was no longer going to shrink myself or give a f**k about what others thought.

I had lost my brother to su***de the year before, in May & if that loss taught me anything, it’s this -
life can be cruel, fragile, and heartbreakingly unfair, but it also showed me something just as powerful, that only you have the choice, the power, and the responsibility to create a life you believe in.

Losing him cracked me open.
It stripped away the people-pleasing, the fear of being judged, the need to fit into spaces that were never meant for me.
What was left was truth, a deep knowing that my life mattered, that my voice mattered, and that living small was no longer an option.

I found my soul again.
I found my joy.

And I climbed back onto the train of living fully, loving deeply, and showing up hard in every area of my life.
I stopped surviving and started choosing.
Choosing colour over grey.
Courage over comfort.
Life over fear.

Living fully became my healing, my rebellion, and my way of honouring him, myself, and the life that was still unfolding.

A decade on and I can honestly say its been a ride that I would get on time and time again, its been so full with wonder, Joy and growth & I am so bloody grateful -
Heres to the next TEN 💙

An almighty tug this morning to make my way down to the shore line, being with the SUN as it rises.
The perfect journaling spot!

The light in all its glory & power as it realigned this discombobulating feeling that was flowing through me!

There is no real explanation to how much power and warmth flowed through my body - yet there was this whisper from inside saying
“begin again” without pressure.

Sunrises are so so powerful - & to really know you have to experience it yourself…

read on and see below at it’s benefits and then go get your morning dose as rises … 👇 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

🌞 1. They Reset Your Biology

Morning sunlight directly affects your circadian rhythm.
• It signals to your brain that it’s daytime
• Boosts serotonin (mood, motivation, calm focus)
• Helps regulate melatonin later, improving sleep at night
Just a few minutes of sunrise light can recalibrate your whole day.

🧠 2. Mental Clarity & Calm

At sunrise, the world is quieter.
• Fewer distractions
• Lower cortisol spikes than rushing mornings
• The mind is more receptive, reflective, and present

This creates a natural state for journalling, meditation, or intention setting.

✨ 3. Energetic Fresh Start

Many traditions describe sunrise as a threshold moment:
• The transition from darkness to light
• Symbolises renewal, hope, and possibility
Energetically, it’s considered a time when prana / life force is most available.

🧘‍♀️ 4. Spiritual & Yogic Significance

In yogic philosophy, sunrise aligns with Brahma Muhurta (roughly 90 minutes before sunrise):
• Ideal for meditation and spiritual practices
• The nervous system is naturally calm
• The mind is clear and sattvic (pure, balanced)

This is why early-morning yoga and breathwork feel especially potent.

🌿 5. Connection to Nature’s Rhythm

Watching the sun rise:
• Grounds you in the present moment
• Reconnects you to natural cycles
• Creates a sense of awe, which research links to reduced stress and greater wellbeing

It reminds us we are part of nature, not separate from it.

💛 6. Emotional & Symbolic Power

Sunrises represent:
• new beginnings
• second chances
• gentle growth (not forced)

Almost every single day I’ve been journalling, beginning around 10 years ago when life felt messy and I was desperate for some headspace. It became the clearest way for me to slow things down, untangle my thoughts, and find clarity.

It’s fascinating to look back now and notice how the dialogue has shifted over the years. You can clearly see how my inner narrative has softened, strengthened, and evolved a quiet reflection of how my mental fitness has grown for the greater good.

I always support my journalling by writing down five things I’m grateful for ✨
Sometimes the pages are short, sometimes long. Sometimes they’re guided especially when I join journalling sessions with thoughtful prompts (thank you ).

Allowing the pen to dance across the paper, flowing smoothly as the ink delivers the mind’s thoughts, a rhythm is created a groove all of its own.

And the best part? Reading it back.
Sometimes it feels like a gentle message from the divine a soft nudge, exactly when I needed it. But best of all, it’s never going to be marked, judged, or corrected.

It’s mine.
Personal.
A safe place to unload, reflect, realign, and return to myself.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Thank you to Clare for my beautiful gift 🫶🏼

And if you’re interested in joining me for journalling sessions, I’m launching a new online offering starting on 2 February, just before the energetic / astrological shift on 4 February 2026.

Sessions will then continue on the first Monday of each month.

SUNRISE ☀️
Sunrise is the moment energy is born into form.

It carries a pure, undisturbed frequency before the world asks, pulls, or interferes.
The veil between rest and action is thin here, making it a potent time for alignment rather than effort.

At sunrise:
• Prana rises gently through the body
• The nervous system is most receptive
• Intention imprints easily onto the day

This is why ancient traditions greet the sun not as worship, but as attunement.

The Solar Energy & the Subtle Body

Energetically, sunrise activates:
• Manipura (solar plexus) personal power, clarity, confidence
• Sushumna nadi, central energy channel awakens
• Agni, inner fire without excess heat

Unlike midday sun (yang, outward, activating), sunrise energy is:
✨ Nourishing rather than depleting
✨ Awakening without urgency
✨ Empowering without force

The Nervous System & Frequency

Sunrise signals safety to the body.
The soft light tells your system:

“You are held. You have time.”

This creates coherence between heart, brain, and breath a state where manifestation, creativity, and healing occur with ease.

The Energetic Benefits of Sunrise
• Clears stagnant emotional energy
• Resets your energetic field
• Strengthens intuition and inner guidance
• Aligns personal rhythm with natural rhythm
• Opens space for new beginnings

You’re not doing sunrise you’re receiving it.

✨ Here’s a 5 Minute Sunrise Energetic Ritual

1. Face the light with feet on the ground
2. One hand on heart, one on belly
3. Inhale: I receive
4. Exhale: I soften
5. Whisper one word you want the day to embody
(peace, courage, devotion, ease)

Also see in captions below additional benefits and the power of a sunrise ….
