On the 15th of January, at Cromer Parish Church, we laid to rest my beloved Grandad, in a place of peace, prayer, and reflection.
Though we lay him to rest, he is never truly gone. He lives on in our hearts, in our stories, and in the values he passed down through generations.

Rest peacefully, Grandad. You will always be loved, and you will never be forgotten. 🕊️💙

Today we hear the phrase Blue Monday, often described as the most depressing day of the year. It is based on a mix of factors like cold weather, short days, post-holiday bills, and fading New Year’s resolutions.

Whether or not the science holds up, Blue Monday reminds us of something very real: many people struggle during this time of year. Winter can feel long, motivation can dip, and stress can quietly build.

But Blue Monday doesn’t have to define us. It can be a prompt—a reminder to check in with ourselves and with others. Small actions matter: reaching out to a friend, getting some fresh air, setting one realistic goal, or simply being kind to ourselves.

Instead of seeing Blue Monday as a day of defeat, we can choose to see it as a turning point—a moment to reset, reconnect, and remember that brighter days are ahead.

Today is the day we say goodbye to my beloved Grandad Reginald Frank Ephraim Amis who
Passed away peacefully on 11th December 2025.
The service will take place Cromer Parish Church at 2pm.
No Flowers please but donations if wished to the North Norfolk Cats Lifeline Trust or Big C.

A Dearly loved husband of the late Heather and Loving Father to Leslie and Terry and much loved Grandad and Great Granddad.
Will be sadly missed by all his family.
