YOGA WITH LISA My style of yoga is a Hatha based energetic Vinyasa Flow .

In Vinyasa style yoga we flow dynamically from one posture / asana to the next whilst connecting with the breath. I encourage students to flow at their own pace and to move intuitively in a way that their body needs. I offer variations and modifications to make my classes accessible to all no matter where practitioners are in their yoga practice.

Intentional/conscious/mindful breathing 🫁

When we breath with intention our breath supports us and works for us rather than against us 🤍

Breathing in this way brings our nervous system into a state of calm and supports us through stress and anxiety.

Long slow deep breathing also supports our cardiovascular system and increases lung capacity 🫁

How easy it is to achieve this magic ✨

Humming Bee Breath or Bhramari Pranayama in Sanskrit 🐝

This breath is sooooooo calming for the nervous system.

It reduces or even relieves stress and anxiety.

It's also amazing for lung capacity and the cardiovascular system because when we're humming on the exhale we're naturally able to make the exhalation much longer than the inhalation.
