The Pharmacy is now open as normal, we are processing prescriptions as quickly as we can but we do have a lot to get through so there may be delay.

Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately the Pharmacy was broken into in the early hours of the morning, this will seriously affect our services today as the Police will not allow us to let customers into the Pharmacy until they have finished their investigations, which could be lunch time or even later.

If you do not need your prescription urgently then if it is possible to collect another day that would be a great help as customers will have to queue outside of the Pharmacy.

Deliveries will go out as normal.

Apologies for the inconvenience that this will cause, we will do our very best to be back up and running normally as soon as we are able.

The Pharmacy is now open as normal.

Unfortunately, one of the windows at the front of the Pharmacy was smashed through last night. As a result of this, the Pharmacy will be a little late opening this morning so that we can clean up the glass and damage.
We apologise for the inconvenience and we will open as soon as it is safe to do so.

We now have a courtesy car out delivering medication. Please let any neighbours and relatives know that it won’t be the usual delivery car.
I would like to say a massive thank you for all of the telephone calls, messages and people calling in to the Pharmacy this morning to offer their assistance with delivering medication.
It is so nice to see how a community pulls together when something like this happens.
It means a lot.

Unfortunately overnight, our delivery vehicle has been set alight in the car park behind the Pharmacy and is completely burnt out .

This means that we have to try and source another vehicle which takes time and will impact the most vulnerable of people in Willington and the surrounding areas who are dependant on their medication being delivered.

Deliveries today will be few and only the most urgent. It will likely be this afternoon before we get deliveries out. Please collect if you are able to, if not then please be patient and we will get to you as soon as we can but there will be a backlog this week.

If anybody has seen anything or has any information that may help, please pass this on to the Police.

8.30am - 12.30pm

1.30pm - 5.30pm

Britton and Robson are recruiting !!

We are looking to recruit a Prescription delivery driver for two days a week, Monday and Tuesday. Driver would need to be over 21 and have a clean driving licence.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.

On Thursday 19th September Community Pharmacies across the country are planning action in protest against the Government and to support the campaign.
Britton and Robson will also be taking part in this action and will subsequently be offering a reduced service over two hours between 10am - 12pm while we gather support for the campaign .
During this time our services will be affected due to reduced staffing and you may face a longer wait, however we will respond to any urgent requests promptly.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience this will cause you but due to the continued funding cuts from the Government for the Pharmacy sector and so many Pharmacies closing or operating at a loss, we have to take action to protect the future of all Pharmacies. We would be very grateful if you would show your support and sign the petition in our or your local Pharmacy .
