*Neges Ddwyieithog - Bilingual Message*

Heddiw ar Ddiwrnod Rhyngwladol y Menywod, rydym yn dathlu’r menywod anhygoel sy’n rhoi eu hamser, eu sgiliau a’u tosturi i wasanaethu eraill.

Ar draws ein cymunedau ac o fewn y gwasanaeth ambiwlans, mae menywod yn chwarae rhan hanfodol wrth ymateb i argyfyngau, cefnogi cleifion, a sefyll ochr yn ochr â chydweithwyr pan fo hynny bwysicaf.

O’n Ymatebwyr Cyntaf Cymunedol gwych i’r nifer fawr o weithwyr proffesiynol ar draws y gwasanaeth ambiwlans, mae eu hymrwymiad, eu cryfder a’u gofal yn gwneud gwahaniaeth gwirioneddol bob dydd.

Heddiw rydym yn eich cydnabod, yn eich gwerthfawrogi, ac yn eich dathlu.

If you’re heading out for a few drinks today or this weekend, be sensible, respect our emergency workers, and work .

Mad Friday is one of the busiest nights of the year for emergency services, with increased alcohol consumption leading to more incidents and accidents. Every alcohol-related call means a crew is unavailable for someone who might be seriously ill or injured.

You can by following these top tips for a safe night out:
👉 Eat before you start your night
👉 Pace and space your drinks
👉 Plan your journey home
👉 Look after each other
👉 Use 999 appropriately

We are experiencing high levels of demand across Wales.
You can by:
- Only calling 999 for a serious or life-threatening emergency
- Not calling 999 for an ETA
- Only calling back if the patient's condition worsens or they no longer need our help

There are other options available which can provide advice and treatment for less urgent medical needs:
- NHS 111 Wales
- Local pharmacy
- GP surgery
- Minor Injury Unit

just because you get taken to A&E by ambulance doesn't mean you'll be seen quicker?

This is because patients are prioritised in order of seriousness regardless of whether you make your own way there or arrive by ambulance.
