We the family of the late Francie McArdle, would like to express our appreciation to all who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement, and our heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the help and support shown… to all who helped out at the wake, those who helped with the directing of traffic, all who called to the house, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, messages of condolences and attended the funeral.

A sincere word of thanks to Fr. Dermot who celebrated a beautiful funeral mass and all who participated with readings, prayers and gifts. Thanks to the Murphy Family for the beautiful music & hymns during the funeral mass.

A massive thank you to the Crossmaglen Health Centre, Michael McConville pharmacy, Daisy Hill Hospital, Acute Care at Home team, First Responders, and emergency services for their help in his recent illnesses.

Thank you to Mona McEntee and staff for catering during the wake and meal after the funeral, and to Silverbridge GFC for the use of their clubrooms.

Our appreciation to Brendan Garvey at McConville Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Francie’s Months Mind mass will be held on Sunday 23rd November at 9:00am in the St Brigid's Church, Glassdrummond.

The death has occured of 𝐌𝐚𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐜 𝐊𝐄𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐲 (Cregganduff) on the 8th November 2025 suddenly at Daisy Hill Hospital Newry. Beloved wife of Declan. Devoted mother of Stephen. Cherished daughter of Gene & Colette Hanratty and dear sister of Eugene, Pauline (Wood) & Brenda (Murphy). Sister in law of James, Miceal, Barry, Teresa & Bronagh.

Maeve will repose at Mc Conville’s Funeral Home, O’Fiaich SQ between 4-6pm on Monday evening with visitors welcome to call and pay their respects. Removal at 6:15pm passing the family home on Newry St, Crossmaglen to her home at Cregganduff with house strictly private on Monday Night. WAKE visiting times : Tuesday 12-9pm. Funeral on Wednesday 12th November leaving her home at 10:20am (house strictly private) to St Patrick’s Church Crossmaglen arriving for 11am Funeral Mass. We the family of the late Mary Walsh, dear aunt of Michael, Peter, Noeleen, Deacon John, Josie & Pamela would like to express our appreciation to all who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement, and our heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the help and support shown… to all who helped out at the wake, those who helped with the directing of traffic, the local branch of IFA, all who called to the house, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, messages of condolences and attended the funeral.

You are warmly invited to visit our special Shrine of Remembrance at St. Joseph’s Redemptorists, Dundalk, where you can write the names of your departed loved ones and hold them in prayer.

The shrine is located within the Shrine of St. Joseph.

The death has occured of 𝐄𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐃 𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐜 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 – (Melwood Grange, Royston Herts & formerly of 46a Glassdrummond Road). We the family of the late Frank McArdle RIP, cherished husband of Patty and loving father of Francis, Mary and Aidan, daughters in law Mary Theresa and Majella, son in law Niall and grandchildren, Sean, Laura, Liam, Aoife, Cormac and Mairead would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We would like to thank all our neighbours and friends who visited and supported us. Thank you to those who sent mass cards and condolences online. We take great comfort from your kindness.
Thanks to all the staff in Our Lady of Lourdes hospital Drogheda for their kind and excellent care in Frank’s final days. A special word of thanks to Naomh Malachi GFC for their guard of honour, directing of traffic, use of their club rooms and to all those who helped on the day. Also a word of thanks to the local branch of the IFA who also provided a guard of honour on the day. Thank you to Mona McEntee and team who provided the lovely food after the funeral.
