𝑨𝒄𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 – Paul Brennan RIP
The family of the late Paul Brennan wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness, help and support during this difficult time and to all who assisted at the wake, donated food and called to the family home.

We are deeply grateful to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes and messages of condolence and to all who attended the funeral.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Fr. Naughton for his support in the days leading up to the funeral and for celebrating such a beautiful Funeral Mass, assisted by Deacon Jacek Tuszkiewicz. A special word of thanks to Fr. Gerry Campbell for officiating at Paul’s burial.

Our thanks also to Colette Harte-Lavery and Marita Byrne for the beautiful music and hymns during the Funeral Mass, to Siobhan, Fleur N Bloom for the lovely floral arrangements and to Dearbhla, DMC for the Mass booklets.

We are very grateful to James and Stephen Watters and their wonderful staff for providing the meal after the funeral.

Sincere thanks to Brendan Garvey, McConville Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified and compassionate manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Your guidance, kindness and support were greatly appreciated.

The family of the late Lily Moley (nee Crosby) who died on the 6th December 2025

Would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their loss. We offer our thanks to the many neighbours who visited our home, attended the removal, funeral mass & burial.

We would especially like to thank Brendan Garvey of McConville’s Funeral Directors for the care and attention given to our mother, also Fr Dermot for visiting our home and the lovely funeral mass, especially Dearbhla for the beautiful singing.

We would like to thank the carers who look after mam in her own home along with the staff in the Glencarron nursing home for their care & support.

We would like to thank Mona McEntee & staff for providing the lovely food & Naomh Malachi for the use of their club rooms.

Please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our gratitude.

The family of the late Eileen Harvey wish to express their sincere heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy and support following their recent loss. We are deeply touched by the generosity of all who visited, telephoned, attended the funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, offered messages of comfort or provided assistance in any form.

We would like to extend our thanks to Fr. Dermot Maloney P.P. for his spiritual guidance and for officiating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Our thanks also go to the Murphy family for their beautiful musical contribution.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and care workers, Daisyhill Hospital, Enable Care Services and district nurses for their care and compassion.

We are grateful to St. Joseph's High School and Corrinshego G.F.C. for their guards of honour. Thanks to Fleur n Bloom for the beautiful flowers and DMC Design for the Mass booklets.

🕯️ Remembering Michael, Patsy & Trevor 🕯️

This year marks 50 years since our community lost our own club member Patsy Donnelly (24), Michael Donnelly (14) of Silverbridge and Trevor Brecknell (32) of Cullyhanna, on 19th December 1975.

Three lives taken far too soon. Three families changed forever.
They were part of our community, part of our daily lives, and they are still deeply missed.

As we gather in quiet reflection, we remember not only how they died, but how they lived with youth, promise, kindness and connection to those around them.
The pain of that night has never faded, but neither has their memory.

A 50th Anniversary Candlelight Vigil will take place
📍 Outside Donnelly’s Bar, Silverbridge
🕗 Friday 19th December at 8pm

All are welcome to come together in remembrance, solidarity and respect, to honour Michael, Patsy and Trevor and to stand with the families who continue to carry this loss.
We kindly ask that you bring a candle to remember them and to remember those who were also injured in the attack.
