Celebrating a very special 100th birthday today here at Heatherview!
We had a visit from the lovely Susanna to help us celebrate in style!
We all enjoyed some beautiful songs from her, and everyone sang Happy Birthday to the lovely Donald!! 🥰😊 After the singing Donald enjoyed a buffet tea with his close friends and family!

Father Christmas arrived with his little elf helpers and visited all the Residents to give them their Christmas gifts 🎁
It was a really lovely morning here at Heatherview and everyone enjoyed seeing the Man himself! 🥰

We’ve had such fun over the last few weeks with our countdown to Christmas! We’ve baked, sang songs, we’ve danced together and had so many laughs and had some great festive fun! We really enjoyed having a visit from the lovely Suzanne from Dementia Singing Experience, Sussex We sang lots of Christmas songs and dressed up! We also played some great games and took some fab photos as we all looked incredibly festive! It was great fun! 😊😃

We had a lovely buffet style feast with lots of Prosecco and Bucks Fizz flowing! We all really enjoyed ourselves and felt really Christmassey!!

Feeling very festive here at Heatherview 🎄🎅🏻
St John’s Primary School visited today and sang some lovely Christmas Carols for us all! 🥰
After they replenished themselves with Juice and Biscuits they mingled amongst the Residents and had some lovely chats! 😊

A few of the Residents made a wish on our wish tree to go to the local pantomime- Oh no they didn’t!! 😂
So of course we happily granted these wishes!! 🌟💫⭐️✨
They all really enjoyed themselves and had a fabulous time- they even got to have a photo with the cast! 🥰

We’ve had a fabulous festive fun filled week here at Heatherview! 😊Lots of activities and events going on, from mince pies being made, to making Angels for our Christmas Trees 🎄 with all this taking place we still managed to include two outings to the local garden centre where some of the Residents did their Christmas shopping!
It was one Residents wish to go with her Daughter to a Garden centre so we were very happy to be able to do this for both of them 🥰 It was so nice seeing the Residents enjoying themselves and admiring all the beautiful decorations they had on display! 🙏🏻❤️
Everyone had a wonderful time 😊
