Dalling House

Dalling House is a double-fronted Victorian residence in the heart of Crowborough, only a few miles from Tunbridge Wells and the coast.

Dalling House residential care home offers a warm and caring environment for our elderly residents whilst respecting their wishes for individual privacy. On the ground floor, the large bright lounge leads to a substantial conservatory, and there are patio doors which overlook and lead out onto a sunny garden and patio area. Lunch and supper are served in the elegant dining area and are prepared on the premises by our own cook with an emphasis on home-cooking using locally sourced produce wherever possible. Residents' families are welcome to join their relative for dinner (please let the cook know in advance). Dalling House has nineteen beautifully presented bedrooms (seventeen having ensuite facilities) over three floors and all floors are served by a six person passenger lift. An addressable nurse call system is fitted to all rooms. Potential residents are encouraged to spend a day with us at Dalling House before making a final decision, without incurring any costs. Dalling House residents are encouraged to pursue hobbies and leisure activities, and our Activities Co-ordinator ensures that there are always a variety of events to partake in. Dalling House residential care home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as an Overall Good service provider, and is also on the Preferred Provider List for East Sussex County Council. what a fabulous Christmas party our residents had today at Dalling House, brilliant entertainment as always from Rosie singing all the Christmas classics, along with a wonderful buffet prepared by Eleanor Robertson which was enjoyed by all. It was lovely to see so many of you there to enjoy the afternoon with us.
Thank you as always to our wonderful staff who worked so hard to ensure a good time was had by all today and for staying after to help with clearing up, its so appreciated.

Happy Halloween to you all. Our residents had a wonderful time their Halloween party with great entertainment from Rosie and wonderful buffet prepared by Sally and Wendy, thank you to all that came to enjoy the fun with us and our wonderful staff for all their help

Our residents enjoying an afternoon of pampering, which included face masks, manicures, a lovely foot soak in revitalising Himalayan salts then a refreshing foot cream to finish. all topped off with fresh cream scones and a glass of Pimms with all the trimmings. A great afternoon enjoyed by all.

Our residents have enjoyed creating their Easter bonnets over the last few weeks, they now adorn the walls for all to see.
We all had a fun time at our Easter party yesterday afternoon, with Avril from the Victory V's entertaining us with a fabulous set, followed by a wonderful buffet prepared by Daisy ans Sally,
A great time was certainly had by all.

After another great residents Christmas party, with a wonderful buffet prepared by Sally and James and entertainment by the Victory v's who are a favourite with our residents, families and friends ,Dalling House is embracing the new year and starting to get back to normal.
All our residents agree that Christmas has been a lovely time with a beautiful Christmas lunch, lots of lovely finger food to enjoy and of course the odd glass of bubbly to celebrate. Once again thank you to all our wonderful staff who have all worked very hard and have gone that extra mile to ensure our residents had the best time.

The preparations have started the homes Christmas party tomorrow,
All our residents are looking forward to family and friends joining them for entertainment from the Victory Vs who will be singing Christmas classics amongst others and a wonderful buffet spread for all to enjoy.

A great time had by all at our Halloween party, Lots of lovely buffet food, ghoulish cakes and treats, jack o lantern oranges filled with cherry jelly, topped with whipped cream and crushed cookie crumble to finish,a lovely glass of cava and entertainment by the Victory V's, who sang some Halloween classics amongst others.
As always thank you to all the staff who helped with the preparation and at the party, we are very lucky to have such great staff at Dalling House..............now to start planning the residents Christmas party

Meet Sid and Nancy (Sid is the blue one).
After the loss of our very old inherited Budgie Peter, Our residents have constantly asked for a new Budgie as they have missed his chirping and singing in the lounge where his home was kept. So we found one but he was very attached to his companion and we didn't have the heart to part them so we took them both much to the delight of our residents. They have settled in beautifully and sing and chatter away most of the day until they are settled down for the night. Certainly a lovely addition to the Dalling House family

Our residents really enjoy their Arts and Crafts sessions, now thanks to Daisy and James' creative input, they now have their own Art and Crafts section to display all their creations for all to see.
we are very pleased with the positive feedback we have received from friends, relatives and of course our residents.
