🎆 Fireworks at Bucklers Lodge – Tomorrow! 🎆

Reminder to join us for our spectacular firework display tomorrow evening!

🍕 Delicious pizza available from 5:30pm

✨ Fireworks start at 6:30pm

🚫 Please note: The car park will not be in use throughout the display for everyone’s safety.

⚠️ A gentle reminder that debris may fall from the fireworks, so please stay within the designated viewing areas.

Bring your friends, wrap up warm, and enjoy the show! 🎇

Our Residents spent some time together this morning reading some poems and reflecting.

Reflections of Gratitude
On this day, let us pause and reflect,
On the blessings we often neglect.
From the morning sun’s gentle rays,
To the love that brightens our days.

Gratitude flows from a humble heart,
For the simple joys life imparts.
A warm meal, a friend’s kind word,
The beauty in nature’s song, often unheard.

So, let’s share our thanks far and wide,
In every gesture, let gratitude reside.
For in giving thanks, we find our way,
To peace and joy, on this special day.

Join us on Friday the 7th of November for a coffee morning in aid of the Royal British Legion. We will have plenty of cake, tea and coffee to go around, and it is also a chance for us to showcase our fabulous poppies knitted by our residents which will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to RBL. We hope to see you there! 🍰☕️

This morning from 10:30-12pm! 🕸️ Spooky costumes encouraged! 👻
Bucklers Lodge is inviting parents and children along to enjoy a morning of fun with us. We are excited to build new friendships through play and join together multiple generations. Our past sessions have been amazing and we would love for you all to come again!
**We ask that in consideration of the health of our residents, we request anyone feeling unwell not to attend Bucklers Babies.**

🎆 Fireworks Night at Bucklers Lodge! 🎆

We’re excited to invite everyone to our Fireworks Display at Bucklers Lodge Care Home on Wednesday 5th November! 🌟

🍕 Pizza di Mamma — a lovely family-run stall — will be serving authentic wood-fired pizzas from their traditional oven with a tall chimney from 5:30pm, so come early and enjoy a delicious bite before the show!

🎇 The fireworks will begin at 6:30pm, lighting up the night sky for residents, families, and our wonderful local community.

Here at Bucklers Lodge Care Home, our residents have recently discovered a love for crochet — it’s been bringing so much joy, creativity, and relaxation to our days! 🧶✨

We’re reaching out to our amazing community to ask for donations of crochet needles (any sizes welcome!) to help us keep the creativity flowing.

If you have any spare needles tucked away at home or would like to contribute, we’d be so grateful! 💖
