Ladt year I wrote an article for Macs Adventure.

It was about my 1200 mile walk from Lands End to John O'Groats in memory of my darling mum who died of dementia.

Along the route I raised almost £25,000 for and was sponsored on the Scottish leg by the brilliant Macs Adventure.

Today I recieved this email:

Out of all the stories we shared in 2025, yours has received the most feedback from both customers and colleagues...

I won't share that comments here.

But Im so happy that sharing my story helped others who are living with dementia and that like me, so many find solace and peace by walking in nature.

Thank you Macs Adventure for helping more people experience the deep satisfaction and connection with nature that hiking brings.
