A representative sample of the registered workforce in Wales will be invited to complete a survey that asks questions on topics such as well-being, what it’s like to work in social care, pay and conditions, training and qualifications, Social Care Wales has revealed.

The response to the survey will influence whether it is then rolled out every year, the organisation said. The survey is being run on behalf of Social Care Wales by Swansea-based research agency, Opinion Research Services (ORS).

Today marks the beginning of week!

This week is set to take place from today - 5 February. Dedicated to encouraging people to take up one of the 165,000 vacancies amid the sector’s biggest ever staffing crisis has had more than 50 homes register.

Spearheaded by Care Hires, the awareness week has already had care groups such as Aci Care and CHD Living join, in addition to several independent care homes.
