Fulcrum Care Limited

Fulcrum Care Limited Fulcrum Care helps nursing and care homes in England to improve. We can take your home from ‘inadequate’ or ‘requires improvement’ to ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’.

We provide consultancy, audits and in-home management, with support and guidance on CQC regulations, management issues and operational matters. Management Support for Care Homes:

With input from our specialist consultants, advisers and managers, we will turn around your care home if it is failing. Through consultancy and audits, we determine what your management team needs to do to improve. We then advise you on the steps needed or will put a manager in place to personally oversee improvements in levels of care, safety, leadership, responsiveness and effectiveness. If you’ve had a poor CQC inspection report or assessment, we can challenge that for you. We can successfully challenge reports, which allows you to continue to run a profitable care home business. If you have an overflow of support requests coming in from your home – or several homes – we can help by providing fully outsourced quality assurance. You’ll have your own dedicated Care Manager. They will be someone that you can rely on and trust, who will work just as if they were based in your office. Brief them on your business and they will quickly get to know your management team and how you like to work. What Makes Us Unique?
- You get support from experienced consultants and managers who know the care home sector well. There’s help and guidance available online or over the phone. Or we can visit in person.
- You’ll have your very own dedicated Care Manager, with experience of managing and running a care home.
- Whether your home has just received a poor inspection result, or you’re a good provider looking to improve even more, we can tailor our services accordingly.

However, the increase in footfall and visitations makes it vital for care homes to not only freshen up their look, but to also stay on the ball with new and updated compliance regulations.

At Fulcrum Care Limited, we strive to guide & support our clients, through whatever difficulties you or your home may be experiencing.

Recent Google review from a client states:

"We can not thank enough the support given by Fulcrum in guiding us to turnaround our Nursing Home. We took a risk in buying a Nursing a Home that had Required Improvement in the last two inspections.

Fulcrum gave us the confidence it’s possible to turnaround.

Fulcrum was involved in various aspects from day one. We did a comprehensive audit in the first week, and this was helpful in settings our strategy and priorities right from the start;

Fulcrum had been supporting us with various aspects over the years, trouble shooting areas of concern as well as ongoing service review. All of this helped to embed best practices and we can now see the results.”

A job events company is attempting to provide a solution to the health and social care staffing crisis in the south of England by staging the UK’s first ever show which is solely dedicated to recruitment in the sector.

Hosted by Milton Keynes-based Jobshows, Health & Social Care Jobs Live is taking place in London in June in a bid to help reduce the unprecedented staff shortages in both sectors. Good luck to everyone exhibiting!

A representative sample of the registered workforce in Wales will be invited to complete a survey that asks questions on topics such as well-being, what it’s like to work in social care, pay and conditions, training and qualifications, Social Care Wales has revealed.

The response to the survey will influence whether it is then rolled out every year, the organisation said. The survey is being run on behalf of Social Care Wales by Swansea-based research agency, Opinion Research Services (ORS).

Getting a much sought-after rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is a highlight for care home staff, managers and owners.

It shows that their hard work and dedication has paid off and are now able to proudly show that they’re providing a great quality of care for their residents.

However, it’s not long before the returns for a re-inspection of a care home. So, how can you ensure that a care home remains ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ at its next inspection?

Take a look at our latest blog here:

Hallmark Foundation looks to attract next generation of carers with UK’s first care conference for teens.

In collaboration with Working Options in Education, they are hosting the free national care conference for school pupils aged between 14-19 years of age, to encourage the next generation of health professionals into the care sector.

Amazing to see such initiatives with the aim of attracting the next generation of care workers into the sector.
