On behalf of everyone at Rouse & Co, I would like to thank you all for attending our memorial service today. It was truly lovely to see you and your families again, and it was a privilege to share those meaningful moments with you.

A massive thank you to Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery for kindly hosting our service and the staff there making sure everything ran smoothly.

Thank you to Rev’d Debbie for leading the service and thank you to our celebrants Grace Farrelly & Katie Costello for your lovely poems.

We are deeply grateful to those who contributed to the donations—your generosity is very much appreciated.

Meet our arrangers🤗

👋We are delighted to introduce the newest member of our team, Grace.

Grace is training to be a Funeral Arranger, supporting our families with care and compassion, while also taking on the role of our Social Media Specialist. She joined Rouse & Co. in January 2025 and has since been working closely with our team in the office, assisting bereaved families with arrangements and helping to care for our Chapel of Rest. Grace has shown a thoughtful and empathetic attitude towards the work we do, which makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

A few words from Grace:
"I have loved being part of the team at Rouse & Co. since I joined. I’ve realised the care and support shown to our families is truly genuine, and it really does feel like a family. I am honoured to be part of a team dedicated to looking after our families and their loved ones."

Steve first joined us as a volunteer in 2020, following his retirement after many years in the funeral industry, where he conducted services and drove hearses and limousines.

Since then, Steve has become a valued part of the Rouse & Co. family. He brings with him not only a wealth of knowledge and experience, but also a genuine kindness and compassion that shines through in the way he supports our families at their most difficult times.
We are truly grateful for everything Steve does, and we feel blessed to have him as part of our team. His warmth and dedication help us continue to care for our families with the respect and compassion they

Meet our arrangers🤗

👋We are delighted to introduce Our Office Manager and Trainee Funeral Conductor, Louise.

Louise joined Rouse & Co in 2021 following many years as a florist. Wanting to continue supporting bereaved families in a different way she brought her compassion, creativity and care into her role with us.

She offers guidance and support with a genuine loving nature, helping families feel welcomed and cared for. Recently, Louise has also began conducting funerals under the guidance of our Head Funeral Conductor, Mark, continuing to grow her skills and dedication in serving families.

In Louise’s words:
I genuinely love my job and the families I’ve met along the way. The support from the team has helped me grow so much and my background in flowers has also allowed me to reassure families that they can place their trust in me. I’ve been honoured by to look after so many families and feel privileged that they’ve trusted me to care for their loved ones.

Meet our arrangers🤗

👋We are delighted to introduce our Funeral Arranger and Resin Specialist, Marilyn.

Marilyn joined Rouse & Co. in 2018, supporting families through the loss of their loved ones—including during the difficult restrictions of Covid. Alongside her arranging work, she began creating thoughtful keepsakes for families, starting with angel keyrings and angel wings. Over time, she developed her craft to create unique keepsakes incorporating cremated remains and flowers from floral tributes, offering families something deeply personal to cherish.

Here are a few words from Marilyn herself:
"I joined Mark in the office in 2018. From a very early age, I knew what it was like to lose someone you love, and that has guided me in my work. I feel privileged to be able to support families at such a tender time in their lives. It is also a great honour when families ask me to create resin keepsakes for them, whether with flowers or cremated remains. Knowing I can provide something meaningful and lasting gives me great fulfilment.

We thank Marilyn for everything she has done and continues to do for the families we serve.
