Come along, browse a great selection of pre-loved clothing and take home items you can give a new life to. The event is completely free to attend, and you are welcome to take clothes away at no cost. We simply ask that items are not taken for resale.

It is a great way to save money, reduce waste and support sustainable fashion.

We are also looking for donations of clean, good quality clothing and footwear for men, women and children.

Clothing donation drop-off times:
• Friday 10 April, 9.30am to 11.30am
• Saturday 11 April, 9.30am to 11am

Drop-off location: Cullompton Community Centre

Optional cash donations on the day are welcome to help support future local festivals.

This event is part of Cullompton Spring festival, so there will be other stalls and activities at the community centre at the same time

Please see below information from Polden Planning.

My client, West of England Developments, is preparing a full planning application for new housing on land south of Lower Town. We have engaged in detailed pre-application discussions with MDDC, no planning application is yet submitted.

I have this morning booked Sampford Peverell Village Hall on 17th March 2-8pm for a face-to-face public consultation. The consultation event will include Polden Planning, West of England and project team members who will be on hand to answer any questions.

Ahead of the event and around 1st week in March, we will publish a website and publicise the event locally.

Also, if you have any recommendations about where to publicise to make sure that as many people know about the event as possible, I would be grateful please. We usually use Facebook, posters in the village. We have unfortunately just missed the 19th deadline for the parish magazine although I wondered if we would be able to get an advert/announcement on the village or parish website?

*Please note the Parish Council do not know any information regarding this and all questions should be directed to the company themselves. The Parish Council believe that sharing this information on the consultation would be benificial.

👴 As carers our lives are punctuated with many changes! 👩‍🦰

Some changes maybe welcome, but others will need some adjusting to and may lead to feelings of grief and grieving.

Why not join us on our online 'Looking at our feelings as carers' Carers Skills Workshop on Wednesday 18th March at 10am-12pm where we will:
- Look at pre-grief, grieving and adapting to change
- Discuss that grief isn't always about dying, it also occurs when life changes - both expected and unexpected.

To book your place email: workshops@devoncarers.org.uk
You must be registered with us to attend.
