Orchard Lea Care Home is a 37 bed award winning care home based in the growing town of Cullompton in Devon.

We are looking for Health Care Assistants, who can make a real difference and contribute to the highest standard of care to our residents.

Applicant must ensure the highest standard of care are maintained while assisting residents with personal and social care. Applicants must have good communication skills and able to maintain accurate records to planned care. A person Centred Approach must be adopted throughout the care delivery.

You must be able to manage multiple tasks through to completion and handle difficult situations sensitively, adapting promptly to the changing needs of our residents, always demonstrate sound judgement, common sense and initiative.

To be successful in this role, you must be reliable and committed to making a positive difference and have a genuine interest and enthusiasm in delivering Person Centred Care.

We are looking for full time/ part time staff.

Successful applicant must complete DBS checks.

£10 per hour.

And just like that, after 4 years our Chef Chrissy is leaving us full time. We are so glad you decided to stay on the bank with us, but you will be incredibly missed by all! It’s been a pleasure to have you working alongside us since day 1. We wish you the best of luck in everything you do!

The wonderful Viv Southall, is donating her time to us, to help raise £500 for the home to start creating a garden area where our residents can relax and enjoy.
Viv’s Mum used to be a resident in the care home with us as many of you know, and over the 18 months her Mum lived with us, Viv become a massive part of the home! This is just one of the fundraisings in the pipeline that Viv will be completing. We also have some others in talks which Viv and the team will be working on together to complete!
