Just to let all my ochiltree patients know that from January I will be based in Valley Medical Practice, New Cumnock. Green shutters pharmacy has been sold, although don't worry if you get your medication here as it will still remain a pharmacy. I have loved working in ochiltree and will continue to see all my patients who can travel to valley medical practice in New Cumnock. Wishing the new owners all the best in this smashing wee village too. December appointments will remain and I'll contact everyone who has a January appointment by phone. Best wishes Yvonne.

First time this has happened to me .The £20 note at the top of the picture is fake.I've probably seen maybe 40 odd patients this week one of whom has given me a fake £20.

Just to let everyone know I have had a small phone issue this weekend. Small as in it is now at the bottom of a Loch ( accident, not flung, dropped). Will be sorted by Monday. If anyone has left messages regarding appointments please phone again on Monday. 🤦‍♀️

Why Podiatrists use vacuum autoclaves.

Instruments are considered to be sterile when they. • have been cleaned, inspected and then wrapped before being sterilized in a sterilizer designed to process wrapped instruments (e.g. a vacuum sterilizer); they are sterilized at 134 degrees.
The process kills microorganisms such as bacteria and fungal spores.

Just to clarify for all my patients:

Following the First Minister’s announcement on Monday afternoon, the College of Podiatry has clarified our position in relation to the national lockdown .

Podiatry remains classified as essential healthcare and all clinic appointments will continue.

Anyone who wishes to cancel their appointments can get in touch, giving the usual 24 hours minimum notice.

Following the recent announcement that ayrshire will be categorised as tier 4 on Friday evening, I would just like to inform everyone that does not affect healthcare services.

Podiatrists, as registered medical professionals, can continue to treat patients in all tiers as we are an essential service.
