The latest respiratory report shows an increase across the majority of surveillance indicators for influenza activity, so if you haven’t yet taken up your offer to get vaccinated now is the time before levels increase further!

It usually takes about two weeks for a vaccine to become effective, so if you’re eligible take up the offer without delay.

For further information on flu and COVID vaccines see www.nidirect.gov.uk/wintervaccines

Information about the RSV vaccine can be found at www.pha.site/RSVvaccine

‼️Flu Clinic Saturday 18th October‼️

Just some important information we would like to remind everyone of for our upcoming Saturday flu clinic.

This will be a large clinic and parking at the surgery will be limited. We would ask those who are able to walk that wee bit further to consider parking at the boat club or the hurling club to allow those who are elderly or require extra assistance to use the surgery car park

If you are over 75 or immunosuppressed you will be offered your Covid vaccine also.

Our staff on the day will only be doing vaccines and won’t be able to help with any other queries. We appreciate your understanding in this way.

If Saturday doesn’t suit for you to attend there are other clinic dates available. Please contact the surgery between 11am and 12:45pm to book your appointment or use the online booking link.

❗️Flu and Covid Clinic ❗️

On Saturday 18th October we are planning to have a flu and covid clinic in the surgery.

We would ask that parking spaces within the grounds of the surgery are reserved for the elderly and those who may require assistance. If possible please try to avoid using the surgery car park due to traffic congestion issues.

The hurling club have kindly granted us use of the car park for those who are able to walk that wee bit further and the boat club car park can also be used.

We would encourage those of you who can to book your appointment online via the link sent in the text message. Alternatively please contact the surgery between 11am and 12:45pm to book via telephone.

We are grateful for your assistance.

Our clinical systems are back online again after yesterday’s internet outage. We will have a backlog from yesterday to work through and we would ask for your patience and understanding today with staff as we try to catch up. Thank you in advance.

‼️Information Post ‼️

Due to circumstances beyond our control we currently have no access to our clinical systems.

All queries will be dealt with as soon as possible and we please ask that you allow 48 hours for prescriptions as per normal. At present we do not know when we will be back online but we will update you when we know more.
