In our latest team challenge we did a “Guess Who?” competition that had everyone laughing as we tried to match the faces to our team members. There were plenty of surprises, a fair bit of detective work, and, of course, lots of chocolate rewards for the best guessers.

This Remembrance Sunday, we take a moment to reflect with gratitude. Remembering those who served, and those who continue to serve.

For many, it is a day of memories. Stories passed down, photographs kept safe, names that remain spoken. We honour them by remembering, and by continuing to value peace, dignity and community in the present.

This is the story of how one woman’s journey that has been shaped by care, loss, resilience, and the determination to keep moving “onwards and upwards.”

from years working in care, the love she has for her family, volunteering with the Red Cross, and helping to fund a young girl’s education in Gambia. Now living at Thistle Court, she continues to find purpose and connection in the place she chose to call home.
