David Pilkington, our Senior Manager, and members of our Harwich & Dovercourt office had the pleasure of attending the Harwich Community Carol Service at St. Nicholas Church.

With a 500+ strong congregation led by the incredible Tendring Brass Band, the atmosphere was truly festive. We were delighted to help the local Cadets to serve mulled wine and mince pies throughout the evening.

At the end of the concert, we held a ‘Top Hat & Hoops’ game—it was wonderful to see the Mayoress and her husband taking part! Congratulations to our hamper winner who took home the top prize for the highest score.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this community event so special.

Last week Agnes along with our managers Bobby (Romford), and Matt (Harold Hill) had the privilege of visiting Saint Francis Hospice to present a cheque to their "Living with Dementia" Group.

This invaluable group offers vital support to individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. Saint Francis Hospice provide so much comfort and care to local families, we are incredibly proud to support them.

Thank you to and Peaceful Place for welcoming some of our team into your work on Friday last week for International Volunteer Day. We were grateful for the opportunity to support where help was needed - processing donations from drop-off points and seeing the amazing work you do caring for our community.

You were all so welcoming, and we look forward to continuing to work with you and other charities that continue to do the fantastic work and offer the loving care you provide to all the people that you work with and for.

Thank you for all you do.

International Volunteer Day - 5th December

Today, we celebrate the incredible impact of volunteers worldwide. At West & Coe, we know the importance of giving back, not just through our services but by supporting our communities in every way we can.

Volunteering isn’t just a one-day event; some of our dedicated team will be out volunteering today and, in the weeks, to come, contributing to causes close to our hearts. From charity events to local support initiatives, we're proud to be part of a movement that truly makes a difference.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who give their time, energy, and love. You’re the heart of our communities, and we’re so grateful for you!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our memorial evening at All Saints Church Dovercourt Harwich.

We extend a special thank you to our dedicated staff from our Harwich & Dovercourt office and our celebrants Denise Clark, Corrine Cappell, and Reverend Ian Smith, for their invaluable support. A huge thank you and special mention goes to Jemma, daughter of our Senior Manager Andy Hampton, for providing the beautiful and moving soloist music.

These evenings of remembrance and reflection are incredibly important to us and our families, offering a chance to come together and light a candle in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us.
