Midlothian Physiotherapy LLP was established by 3 business Partners, Paul Bryce, Kevin Dewar and Alistair Matson to offer high quality and cost effective Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to both individuals and organisations. Whilst we have grown adding both clinical and administrative staff our goal remains the same. All of our clinicians have a minimum of 10 years of experience and are members of the CSP and are registered with the HCPC. This service can be accessed via our purpose built clinic or alternatively we run on-site clinics for two of our working partners. We provide Physiotherapy services for large and small public and private sector organisations. In addition to members of the public who want to access private physiotherapy either paying as they go or by using their health insurance. We treat those with low back pain, neck pain, shoulder knee and other joint aches and pains. We also treat muscle, ligament and other soft tissue problems, including sports injuries. In addition to offering Physiotherapy we supply a range of related services. These include DSE assessments, Workplace assessments and Manual Handling Training (both Object and People). We are based in Eskbank, Midlothian and provide our Manual Handling and other related services throughout Scotland and Northern England. We are a registered with all the main Private Insurers including BUPA, Standard Life, AXA PPP, CIGNA etc.

About the Role

Midlothian Physiotherapy LLP are seeking a MSK Chartered Physiotherapist to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven physiotherapist to develop their career in private practice in the specialities of MSK and Occupational Health.

This role would involve a blend of both on-site work within the clinic in Eskbank and off-site at our working partners’ sites providing a high quality face to face musculoskeletal service and providing our working partners with reports for audit purposes.

About you

You must be HCPC registered and a CSP member. You must have at least three years post grad experience (at least 12 months of which in the UK) and a portfolio that demonstrates continued professional development in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Occupational health experience is not essential as training, mentoring and support towards post grad/ACPOHE accreditation will be provided. Successful Applicants must also have a full UK drivers’ licence.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role providing customers with an efficient and high-level quality service. This role involves managing a clinical caseload and providing our working partners with reports for audit purposes, therefore you will need to be able to prioritise your workload, work autonomously and be flexible in your approach to daily tasks.

About us

We have been established since 2008 and are based in Eskbank, Midlothian. We offer a varied musculoskeletal caseload in a relaxed and supportive environment. We provide an MSK outpatient service to private patients, insured patients and employees of our occupational health working partners. We also provide several Occupational Health Contracts for our working partners at their sites throughout East-Central Scotland.

Salary: Competitive Salary - Dependent on Experience

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week between Monday and Friday (Flexible hours or a part-time role would be considered for the right candidate).

Good Luck to our physio Lynsay who's doing the London marathon tomorrow in aid of Marie Curie. She was raring to go last year before Covid got in the way which meant she had to do the virtual version instead. We'll be tuning in to BBC 2 in the morning to cheer her on for the real thing!!!
