Earlier this year, our team was delighted to be invited to the Classic Car Show at Dalemain, where we had the pleasure of meeting so many passionate enthusiasts and sharing more about the vital care we provide across our community. 🚗💛

Clinical services can still be contacted by phone.

We will reopen as normal on Monday.

One of our wonderful volunteers has been busy knitting the most adorable pumpkins to raise vital funds for Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland — and now she’s turning her talents to some festive Christmas creations! 💛✨

To keep her knitting needles going, we’re on the lookout for red, white, green, and brown wool and any baskets that she may be able to place her finished Christmas items! If you have any spare balls tucked away at home, we would be so grateful for your support. 🙏

Your donated wool will help create beautiful handmade items that not only raise funds, but also bring joy and comfort to our community this Christmas.

📺 Tune in Tonight – BBC Newsnight

This evening (Wednesday 12 November) at 10:30pm on BBC Two, Newsnight will be shining a spotlight on the hospice funding crisis.

The programme will feature St Raphael’s Hospice in south west London, sharing powerful stories from patients and hospice staff to highlight the incredible care hospices provide — often far beyond the walls of the hospice building — and how this care is increasingly under threat due to insufficient funding.

Please tune in, watch, and help raise awareness of why hospice care matters. 💛
