Enjoy a cuppa, get advice on benefits, wellbeing, and—this year in particular—energy advice, plus pick up some freebies along the way!

Once again, we’re delighted to be hosting our Veterans Afternoon Tea. 🍰🇬🇧

Louisa will be preparing the delicious food, with Jonny and our amazing volunteers – Sue, Netty and Jane – helping on the day.

Due to our funding coming to an end, we will now need to charge for this event. The small fee will simply cover the cost of the food and refreshments prepared by Louisa.

We hope you’ll join us for a warm, welcoming afternoon with great company, great food and great conversation. ❤️

Take Part in Teesdale is a new arts project for adults. The project aims to improve health and wellbeing for adults in rural Teesdale and will use creativity to build skills, confidence, resilience, and empower people to connect to the communities they live in and feel more able to take part.

On Friday 24th October we will be having a bake sale at the surgery to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

Have you always wanted to go and visit with these lovely warm alpacas at Teesdale Alpacas, Boldron? Don't have anyone to go with? Or if you don't often get chance to have an afternoon out to try something different? Then why not join us for this fun afternoon.
Places are very limited as access to this trip is by minibus only due to limited parking at the farm. SO if you want to go we'll be picking up at TCR The Hub, Barnard Castle, and going together as a group.
This trip is funded by our lovely funders Point North and Pioneering Care Partnership but we welcome a suggested donation of £5 to help us support more people to take part in our activities.

📞 We Have a New Telephone System!

Our new phone system went live today and we’re pleased to say it appears to be working well! 🎉

When you call the practice, you’ll now hear a menu of options to help direct your call to the right team. You can choose from:

👉 Appointments
👉 Prescriptions
👉 Reception (General Enquiries)
👉 Secretaries
👉 Test results

🕚 Please note: our prescription line will now be open from 11am – 5pm.
☎️ Please note: our secretary line will be open from 11am - 2pm for general referral queries.

We’d like to thank all our patients for your patience and understanding while we made these improvements, we hope this new system helps you reach the right person more quickly and makes your experience smoother.
