Night Carer Wanted 🌙

Middleton Hall has a fantastic opportunity for a Night Carer to join us. We’re a friendly, values-led community set within 45 acres of stunning grounds, and we welcome applications from those who share our ethos and want to help residents live their lives to the full.

The Opportunity:
• Permanent contract
• 31.5 hours per week (9:00pm – 7:00am)
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota
• Starting at £12.91 per hour

The Role:
• Provide care and support with all aspects of personal care and mobility, always promoting independence.
• Use our electronic care planning system to monitor and record personalised care for each resident.
• Build strong working relationships with day teams, families, and friends to ensure residents remain at the centre of all decisions.

About Our Nights Service:
We have five services ranging from independent living to high-dependency residential care. Our nights team works collaboratively across all services, delivering a person-centred approach to every resident. Treating each person as an individual will come naturally to you.

Treat Mum this Mother’s Day with a Tea & Tipple Tour!

Join us on Saturday 14th March for an afternoon of bubbly, nostalgia, and indulgent treats:
🥂 1:30pm – Prosecco & Canapés
🚌 2:00pm – Mystery Tour aboard a vintage “United” bus, hosted by the Aycliffe & District Bus Preservation Society – a trip back to the 60s & 70s!
🍰 3:00pm – Afternoon Tea in the Orangery Bistro

£32 per person – includes a donation to the Bus Preservation Society.

We’re incredibly proud of Stuart, who has achieved a distinction in his Level 2 Horticulture Operative apprenticeship at East Durham College and is now a permanent member of our Estates team.

Taking on an apprenticeship later in life is no small commitment - and Stuart hasn’t been late once in two years, despite travelling a considerable distance for an 8am start.

Estates Manager Bryan said: “His attitude and keenness to become a gardener have been truly inspirational.”

Finance Director Richard added: "We are always keen to recruit people who are willing to learn and are hard working. Stuart has proved to be a shining example of this. He is a real asset to Middleton Hall and we are all very proud of him."

Price: £29 per person

Treat the special women in your life to a delicious three-course Mother’s Day lunch at Middleton Hall Retirement Village.

Our menu features a variety of starters, a traditional carvery with options including roast sirloin of beef, creamy chicken with wild mushroom sauce, and a vegetarian Wellington, followed by a selection of desserts such as profiteroles, sherry trifle, pavlova, and citrus lemon tart. Tea and coffee are included.

We have tables available at 1:00pm and 1:30pm. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you reserve your table.
