Wishing you all a nourishing season 🍲🧙
As the days shorten and autumn deepens, many cultures around the world honour this time as a season of remembrance, a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks for those who came before us.
In the old Celtic traditions, this was the final harvest festival of the year, a threshold between seasons, when people would gather to share food, tell stories, and remember loved ones. It was seen as a time to enter the ‘cauldron of the soul’, embracing the darker months as a gift of rest, introspection, and renewal.
By Winter Solstice, communities would celebrate the return of the light and the turning of the new year.
However you may be marking this season, whether through quiet reflection, lighting a candle for someone dear, sharing stories with family, or simply walking in nature, we at Connected In Nature wish you a gentle, heart-warming time of remembrance and gratitude. 🍂
If you feel called to gather in community, you’re warmly invited to join our Seasonal Family Celebration this Saturday, where we’ll share stories, crafts, and a walk beneath the waxing moon.
