The Grass Roots Training and Therapeutic scheme is for adults with learning disabilities/difficulties.

The Grass Roots Training and Therapeutic scheme offers adults with learning difficulties/ disabilities occupational, educational and work focused training. We offer woodwork, painting and decorating, minor ground maintenance and arts and crafts activities. Our services allow them to widen their participation, to be socially included in their local environment thus gaining experience in 'work ethics', in regards to their lifelong learning.

We have been working on Halloween and Christmas in both the art and woodwork rooms!
We have a couple of big Christmas trees if anyone would like them, they are £20 each, and we could deliver them locally. Please comment on here if you are interested in anything or phone, we struggle with messenger!

The trainees have started on Halloween!
If anyone would like anything please let us know! We have made life size skeletons!

We've been busy here at Grass Roots! Lots of amazing work from the trainees in both the woodwork and art room. Please get in touch if there is anything you would like making.
We have made some great things for the South Park aviary, and an assortment of planters.
The art pictures are brilliant, we even have our own Mona Lisa in the building now!

The trainees have been very creative this week. We have lots of little crafts being made, also planters and bird boxes. The bird boxes are £5 each, planters depend on the size but usually start from £10. The wooden decorations are around £2 each, and the art pictures are £5. If anyone would like anything specific picture made please say.

The trainees have had a fantastic few weeks, we have been busy making planters and shelving, hen houses, carousels that have been ordered. The trainees in the art room have been continuing their fabulous artwork. Today the trainees painted a picture, all randomly selecting a colour, a different part of the face, and a different way of painting, i.e brush, piece of wood, sponge... and completed the most bonkers face! We thoroughly enjoyed it!
