With being a fully qualified Foot Care Specialist BSYA for ten years, I fall into the health section.
my business is classed as vital and will carry on.
I am going by the government guidelines that the doctors and nurses are also taking, this means on my visits my steps are as follows:-

1. I knock on your door, I sterilise my hands with having to touch your door.

2. On you answering the door, I brief you that I am taking special measures and under no circumstances am I touching any door k***s or if I need a light switching on the client has to do that for me.

3. I put on my face mask, anti-bacterial myself, my bags and my hands again and enter the clients property.

4. On entering the property I will be spraying isopropyl alcohol spray around the area that I will be working in.

5. When the client needs to sign my foot care consent at the beginning of the visit, I will provide hand gel to the client once they have sign the book.

6. If my mask feels like it needs adjusting, I will stop what I’m doing, sterilise my gloves, adjust my mask and re sterilise my gloves.

7. I am still accepting cash in which I will spray with isopropyl alcohol before I put it in my purse.

8. I do have a card machine if clients feel better paying my card, however there is a small charge of 37p on top which goes to the card machine company. The machine will be sterilised also.
