Mako 4 robotics has arrived with a 💥!!

1st list today of 4 mako hip and knee replacement patients at Tees Valley hospital :

🥇 1st Mako in Middlesbrough
🥇 1st Mako across the whole Ramsay UK group
🥇 3 of our 4 mako patients went home as day cases!!

The whole of Tees Valley Hospital and Stryker has been on 🔥 with this project- thanks especially to the hard working theatre team for their exceptional skills today, as well as the great ward and physio teams in getting so many patients home the same day, and of course to the slick installation from everyone at Stryker

Birthday Day Case Hip Replacement!

Happy birthday to Darren who had his hip replacement here at Tees Valley this morning, and is already off home this afternoon for his birthday celebrations!

Well done to all of the hard working team at Tees, and here looking forward to even more day case joint replacements with our new Mako 4 Robot!

Thanks to everyone at Tees Valley Hospital for their engagement and support with the launch of Mako 4!
It’s been great to see the buzz around the hospital with the arrival of this technological first in the north east of England. Our patient event was very well received last night
Thanks also to all of the Stryker team for all their hard work involved with the installation of this robot in remarkably quick time!
