Still smiling after yesterday’s paddleboarding session 🌊☀️

We had such a gorgeous morning on the water with my ladies paddleboarding club. The weather was incredible, great chats and fun on the water together.

Just a little note in case you are new here or did not already know, alongside Pilates I also run ladies only paddleboarding sessions during the summer months at Moat Park Water Sports Centre in Maidstone. This is all part of our Ladies Only Paddleboarding Club.

I do not tend to share loads about it on this page as this is mainly my Pilates space, but if paddleboarding is something you have been thinking about trying, or getting back into, it is such a lovely, supportive group of women and a great way to spend time outdoors over summer.

Proud to have completed this course on the science of trauma and the body recently.

Such an eye opening experience learning how the body stores stress and how the nervous system affects how we feel every day.

It really reinforces how important movement is, not just for strength and flexibility but for helping the body feel safe and release tension. And also the power of breath, something we always take time for in our Pilates classes, to help calm and regulate the body and the mind

Always learning and growing so I can support you all in the best way 💛

✨ Feeling stiff, achy or just a bit worn out lately ✨

If your body feels like it’s holding onto tension or quietly asking for some care, this is for you.

I’m running a Trigger Point Pilates session, a gentle, restorative class designed to release tight muscles, ease niggles and help your body move and feel better.

It’s a favourite for people who usually book massage, sports massage or osteopathy, but want something they can do regularly to support their body and feel good in between.

This class is ideal if you
✨ Feel tight through the neck, shoulders, back or hips
✨ Have ongoing aches or little niggles
✨ Sit a lot or feel physically worn down
✨ Want movement that feels calming and supportive rather than intense

We combine slow, mindful Pilates based movement with trigger point work to help muscles soften and joints move more freely.

The session finishes with a deep relaxation to calm your nervous system and leave you feeling restored in both body and mind.

Slow when we are waiting
Fast when we are rushing
Long when we are bored
Short when we are happy

And sometimes… exactly what we need is to pause.

Over the Easter period, we will be taking a little break to rest, reset and recharge. Just like our bodies, our minds need space too.

Classes will resume after Easter and we cannot wait to welcome you back feeling refreshed and ready to move again.

Until then, take this time for yourself. Breathe, slow down, and enjoy the moments that matter most.
