💡Change your day, not your life!

31/01/2026

I haven’t done this before…

but recently I’ve been giving it a go.

It’s a trend called “happiness snacks!” 😊

These are little pockets of joy you deliberately notice and savour throughout your day,

instead of waiting for big wins or massive milestones.

They are the tiny moments that make you smile.

It might be…

☕️ enjoying a coffee in peace

😎 feeling the sunshine on your face

🎶 a classic tuuuune on your walk, or

🤣 a laugh with someone you love.

Why am I trying it now?

Because right now I’m in a fat loss phase and I’m negotiating marathon training around a couple of niggling injuries,

and being perfectly honest,

chasing those big moments sometimes means that I ignore the little ones!

And that’s when consistency starts to feel heavy. 🫠

So I’m being intentional about spotting and savouring small wins to help me stick to my habits better.

And do you know what I have found?

I’ve found that when you train your brain to look for the good in your day,

instead of focusing on the stressful or frustrating bits,

you build positive momentum! 📈

You start noticing the tiny pleasures that boost your dopamine,

and that helps keep motivation steady!

So why not give it a try.

Start yourself a wins folder. 🗂️

Each week add screenshots, notes or any little moments that make you feel good. 🎇

Then at the end of the week look back through your folder to remind yourself that progress isn’t only measured in PBs or on the scales.

Sound like the type of “snacks” that could fuel your journey?

Meet my lovely client Jane! 👋🏻

Jane plays Masters tennis, trains most days, competes regularly…

and somehow fits it all around a busy desk-based job, work travel and full-time dog mum life 🐾

With that mix, niggles are pretty much inevitable.

Our regular full-body massage sessions help Jane:

🏋️ Stay mobile and pain-free for training

🎾 Manage tight hips, calves and shoulders from tennis and long hours at the laptop

🤩 Recover quicker between sessions and competitions

🤕 Spot and deal with small issues before they become injuries

Massage isn’t just a “treat” for Jane;

it’s part of how she stays on court and keeps doing the things she loves.

Is it about time you made regular sessions part of your routine?

Regular massage is all well and good,

but when you team it with stretching that is a game changer!

Massage works deep to release tension, improve circulation, and aid muscle recovery. 💆🏼‍♀️

Whilst stretching helps maintain flexibility, improves your range of motion and prevents muscles from becoming too tight between your massage sessions.

By combining the two, you’re giving your muscles the support they need to stay healthy, recover faster and perform better!

Think of it as the ultimate team effort for your body!

Whether you play sport, have an active job or just want to move better in daily life; stretch, massage, repeat

I promise you will feel the difference! 🤩

This week’s been a mix of training, work and life chaos! 🤯

It’s weeks like these where you feel like you’ve achieved nothing.

But sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s about moving my body, making memories and doing what I can!

So here’s my Friday question for you:

What’s one thing you smashed this week (no matter how small) that made you feel good? 🤩

Life 1st is about celebrating wins, not just ticking boxes.🎉

Next up in the myth-busting series…

healthy eating. 🥗

Because somewhere along the line it feels like eating healthy has become expensive, complicated and a bit intimidating, 🤯

when really it’s built on simple, boring basics that just work.

Swipe to bust some of the biggest food and nutrition myths that make eating well feel harder than it needs to be.
