Autumn is one of my favourite seasons.

Boots, tights, hats, coats, crunchy leaves, beautiful colours.

What's not so great is when skin gets dry, flaky and, if not careful, sore.

There are some skincare swaps needed to weather the autumn chill:

🍁 Opt for a gentle, hydrating cleanser. One that doesn't strip your skin of it's natural oils. Use tepid water NOT hot water. Add in some gentle exfoliation by washing off with a clean wash cloth.

🍁 In the morning, apply a hydrating serum to slightly damp skin for best absorption. Avoid applying products to overly wet skin.

🍁 At night, consider swapping the serum for a calming night cream to help reduce moisture loss from the skin’s surface

🍁 Humidify your home if your heating is on.

🍁 Protect your skin from the elements with a scarf and gloves.
