is observed every September to raise awareness about myopia (short-sightedness) and its impact on eye health. This campaign, organised by various health organisations and optometrists, aims to educate the public about the prevention and management of myopia, especially among children.

Myopia (short-sightedness) is on the rise — and it’s affecting more children than ever. By 2050, HALF of the world could have myopia.
The earlier it’s spotted, the more we can do to slow progression.

Throughout September, we’ll be sharing information to raise awareness of this condition, to help you take steps to reduce the progression of myopia for your children.
