It's holiday time!
Please note that I am away now from Sunday 7th Dec to Monday 22nd Dec (winter sunshine calls after a long ol’ year!).

Nick and Alison are in Haydock running their parallel clinics on the 11th and 12th Dec next week. The last regional clinic of 2025.
If those of you booked into this clinic have any urgent problems with this clinic, please call Alison's bookings coordinator, Becky, on 01432 678681. My phone will be off.

Otherwise, my OOO will be on and I will get back to all your enquiries for 2026 and 2027 bookings when I'm back and my tan is fading and the cat is sulking ‘cos I abandoned her so heartlessly.

Please remember that Nick is not taking on any new clients, so if you have had a scan with him before you can book with him for 2027 but if you're new to REMS and OsteoscanUK please book your scans with Alison.
There is always the option for an additional Zoom consult with Nick after your scan with Alison and her advice if there is anything on which you need his specific advice and guidance.

Please do NOT use FB Messenger/Whatsapp etc to book or enquire for appointments. For continuity we prefer to use one platform only (email) to prevent messages getting lost or missed and for paper trail purposes.

Alison will be adding some more regional clinics to her schedule. They will be added to the map and the website in the New Year when they have been confirmed.

In 2027 a scan with Nick is £350 (£400 for Newry), a scan with Alison is £300 (£350 for Newry).
A 30-min post-scan Zoom consult with Nick is £100 and a more detailed 60-min Zoom consult with Nick is £250.

As usual we have our deposit system in place, £50 at the time of booking and the balance to be paid 12 weeks months prior to the clinic. Payment is via SumUp payment link sent by SMS (or email if you don't have a UK mobile number).

If you are a new patient, please book your REMS scan with Alison Johnson using the booking form/email link for her for your chosen regional clinic on the website: https://www.osteoscanuk.com/clinic-locations

After your scan, Alison will provide a full, detailed personalised evaluation of your results.

If you would then like a more detailed medical review and consultation with Dr Birch following your scan with Alison, there is the option to book a Zoom appointment with him (booked through his PA) to explore your scan findings in greater clinical depth with him.

If you are a current patient of Dr Birch's which means you have had a scan with him in the past, there is no need to worry!

If you have a scan in 2025/2026 already booked (and deposit paid) with Dr Birch, rest assured you will still have your appointment with him. ☺️

Nick runs his full-time consultancy from just outside Daventry and is able to carry out scans here or at one of our many mobile clinics.

Our 2026 scan clinics are filling fast!
Nick’s and Alison's clinics are marked on this calendar.
Nick's clinics in pink are full; those in green have spaces. The little numbers in red are the number of spaces left at his clinics.

Alison's clinics are in pale blue. She's at the same venue/days as Nick for most of her clinics, but is in Aberdeen when Nick is in Glasgow.
At the moment she has availability in all her clinics, but they're filling fast too :)

A slightly bemused admin note 🙂

Please, please double-check the date of your scan when you book it.

This week we have had someone turn up at a venue for their appointment and nobody knew anything at the venue. They phoned me a little agitated asking where we were etc etc and then realised it was the 2026 date that they'd booked (right venue, right date, right month, but wrong year) 🙂
..and then someone last night emailed me to double-check their repeat appointment/venue and the date all over the email/confirmation was a 2023 date and it was their last appointment!

It was a full moon yesterday I guess🌕😜
