When Cedar Grove was opened, the focus was on a family friendly location for all ages promoting physical health and wellbeing.

ASH Stage Productions is an award winning Youth Theatre Company, offering Musical Theatre training for 4 - 19 years and host sessions at Cedar Grove on Fridays.

After 5 hours of cleaning, prepping and making sure every mat is perfectly lined up, I’m ready to welcome a new group of local ladies into the studio tomorrow “ADHD Daventry – Girls Who Get It.”

Nearly two years ago I stood in this same space before the Empowr open day feeling exactly the same mix of pride and nerves.

Proud to be asked.
Excited to meet new faces.
But quietly hoping I can give them the same experience my regular ladies feel every week.

Because exercise isn’t just about reps.
It’s about feeling understood.
It’s about removing judgement.
It’s about creating a space where women can move, laugh, breathe and just be themselves.

If tomorrow helps even one lady realise she can enjoy exercise, that she doesn’t have to “fit the gym mould” to belong, then that’s a win in my eyes.

Empowr was built on community, and I’m so grateful it continues to open doors like this 💙
