Second knitting neuron event went well. Lots of lovely neurons displayed at the landmark centre and up to £130 for tourettes action!

Looking forward to our next event! Landmark Centre 11.30 Wednesday. I'll be in the bar after till the last knitter leaves! Let's try and raise another £100 for Tourettes action, have fun and promote mind and brain health!

Big, big thanks to all those who came to our Knitting Neurons event today. It was lovely to meet the 'Basement Knitters'!

There's a group for everyone in Deal, from the closet knitters to the celebrity hights of Grans on the Make!

Let's continue building connections in our Community and in our minds!

Just finished my first Sensory Neurone - these Nerve Cells take in information from our environments.

The rest of the gang so far are Motor Neurones - Nerve Cells that control muscles.
