It's Treatment Tuesday

Today at the centre we will be holding our healing clinic.

**Last appointment is 4.30pm**
** Walk- in slots available after 3pm
** The Centre will close promptly at 5pm due to the evening events preparation. Thankyou for your understanding.

So why not pop up to the centre this afternoon and treat yourself to a healing session. A time to relax and replenish your energies and an opportunity to heal your body and your mind.

Today we offer Mini-Reiki Sessions for anyone wanting to experience Reiki Energy Healing.

The clinic is donation-based and our volunteer healers are fully qualified and insured.

At our clinic the healers practice either Spiritual Healing (some now refer to it as Energy Healing) and/or Usui/Tibetan or Angelic Reiki.

Whichever type of healing you receive you can rest assured that our healers work from their hearts and do everything they can to give you the best experience possible.

Reiki and Spiritual Healing are non-intrusive hands-on techniques for channelling energy and the mini session usually takes around 20 minutes.

Reiki is a type of energy healing and is classed as a complementary therapy.

The Japanese word Reiki means ‘Universal Lifeforce Energy’. It aims to relax you, ease stress and tension and help with pain, sleep and general well being.

Reiki is linked to a range of physical and emotional health benefits, including better sleep, improved mood, and pain relief in published studies. Research suggests Reiki helps the body return to a state of relaxation, which allows it to potentially better heal from damage brought on by stress, injury, or disease.

Our healing clinic doors open today at 2pm and the last appointment is at 4.30pm.

Donations gratefully received on the door. Walk-in appointments after 3pm.

For any Reiki Course information contact Wendy direct on 07889 981154 🙏

Friday Reflection – We Reopen This Sunday

As the new year begins to settle, we gently prepare to open our doors again.

After the business of Christmas and the pause that follows, many of us find ourselves feeling a little out of step — tired, thoughtful, or unsure how this year will unfold.

This Sunday, we return with a modern service with mediumship — a space to reconnect, reflect, and begin the year supported rather than rushed.

There’s no expectation to feel joyful or inspired.
Just come as you are.

Whether you’re seeking reassurance, comfort, a message from spirit, or simply a calm place to sit among others, you’ll be very welcome.

✨ Service this Sunday – 6pm
✨ Modern service with mediumship
✨ A gentle way to begin the year together

Sometimes the best way to start a new year
is not by pushing forward —
but by gathering, listening, and allowing.

We look forward to seeing you 💛 (doors open 5.30pm) Adults £3 on the door

✨ New Year’s Day – A Gentle Beginning

Today we step into a new year.

For some, it feels hopeful.
For others, it feels heavy.
And for many, it feels like… just another day.

Traditionally, New Year’s Day wasn’t about grand resolutions or sudden change.
It was a quiet pause — a moment to breathe, reflect, and begin again slowly.

You don’t have to reinvent yourself today.
You don’t have to feel optimistic or full of energy.
You don’t even have to know what this year will bring.

All that’s asked of us is this:
to take one gentle step forward.

✨ One day at a time.
✨ One breath at a time.
✨ One kind moment at a time.

And if today is hard — that’s okay too.
The year doesn’t begin because you’re ready…
it begins because time continues, and so do you.

We wish you a year filled not with pressure,
but with compassion, connection, and moments of quiet peace.

Happy New Year 💛

🌿 Thinking Question for New Year’s Day

✨ Thinking Question for Today:
What would it look like to move into this year gently, rather than pushing yourself to change everything at once?
———————————————
As Big Ben chimes people all over the UK sing the traditional song ‘Auld Lang Syne’ bit what is the meaning behind the Robert Burns poem ‘Auld Lang Syne’?

In Scots, Auld Lang Syne means "for the sake of old times" or "time gone by" with a more literal translation of the poem reading: "Old long since".

The song describes a pair of friends reminiscing and raising a drink for old times’ sake.

On a deeper level, the poem is interpreted as a reflection on the fleeting nature of life and time as well as the importance of friendship and the bonds we form throughout our lives.

Now adays it encourages us to be kind to family and friends in The New Year.

What ever is going on in our lives, let us welcome 2026 and vow to fill it with kindness as well as love and peace.

Should old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot
In the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne
And surely, you will buy your cup
And surely, I'll buy mine!
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne
We two who've paddled in the stream
From morning sun 'til night
The seas between us roared and swelled
Since the days of auld lang syne
For old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot
For the sake of auld lang syne?
For old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot
In the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne

Goodbye, December.

As the year quietly fades, may we be thankful for the moments that shaped us, the people who love us, and the resilience that carried us through it all.

Step into the new year with gratitude for what was and hope for all that’s yet to come.

Have you heard of the SEVEN SISTERS?

The Moon and the Seven Sisters" late 2025/2026 a natural New Years celebration.

It refers to the beautiful celestial sight of the Moon passing near the Pleiades star cluster (the Seven Sisters), an open cluster in the constellation Ta**us.

The open star cluster famous in mythology. Sometimes visible to the naked eye as a group of tiny, glittering stars.

Whatever your plans are for tonight, stay safe, be happy and appreciate all the lessons that 2025 taught you.

Step into 2026, wiser, more appreciative and full of love and positivity.

Get ready to start your new chapter 📖

Today, whilst out and about, I was wondering what I could post for today.

Then the heavens opened and what did I see?

A beautiful rainbow 🌈

A rainbow is often thought of as having a spiritual meaning.

A rainbow can be a spiritual symbol of hope & promise:

A powerful symbol of hope and reassurance that difficult times (storms) pass, revealing beauty and new beginnings.

It can also be associated with a bridge to the divine: A bridge connecting Earth to heaven and the spirit world.

Some see the spectrum of colors as representing wholeness, harmony, and the beauty of diversity.

A spiritual enlightenment and connection to energy centers also known as chakras.

It is a symbol that even after a storm a rainbow is a sign that challenges are temporary and peace, light will follow.

Remembering that when we lose a pet people often we talk about them going over the "Rainbow Bridge".

What do you associate rainbows with?

Do they have a special meaning for you?

I will leave you with a pot of gold and a wish 🧚‍♀️ ✨️ 💛

This year it has come to my attention that the period between Christmas and New Year, actually has a name and referred to asTwixmas.

Twixmas is the cozy, relaxing period between Christmas Day (Dec 25th) and New Year's Day (Jan 1st).

A festive "in-between" time for unwinding, reflecting, and enjoying downtime before the New Year, combining "betwixt" (the old English 'betwixt' meaning between) and Christmas, perfect for quiet enjoyment or short getaways.

The time between December 26th to December 31st, which bridges the main holiday and the start of a new year.

The time when we may feel a calm, gentle lull after the Christmas rush, when we focus on relaxation, family, and recharging, rather than big events.

It brings with it the idea of resting between Christmas and Epiphany (the 12 Days of Christmas).

How do you spend these days?

The last Sunday of 2025 (December 28th) calls for reflection and gratitude for the lessons this year has brought.

Happy last Sunday of 2025!

Be proud of how far you've come, carry the lessons, release the regrets, and step into the new year with peace and quiet strength.

This time can help to bring clarity and perspective to everything, A time to cherish the 'still time' before the new year begins.

May this last Sunday inspire hope, love, and a fresh start as we start to say farewell to 2025 and welcome the blessings of 2026.

What do you do during the days between Christmas and New Year?

Many of us start thinking about giving away the unhealthy food built up over the Christmas period. With plans of a healthy start to the New Year, detoxing our bodies.

Some find that this time helps bring clarity and perspective to everything, while another sentiment encourages cherishing this "still time" before the new year arrives.

One perspective encourages using this time intentionally to reflect on the past year, express gratitude, let go of what is no longer needed, and align current actions with future goals.

However you spend these next few days, be kind to yourself, love yourself and put yourself first. You are no use to others if you're not fully recharged.

Remember these affirmations:
I love me
I value me
I am worthy of good things
I am enough

It’s Boxing Day

Whatever you did yesterday we hope you found some peace and joy. Today 26 December, is known in the UK as Boxing Day.

Where did the term Boxing Day originate?

Boxing Day is traditionally about giving, not shopping.

Historically in Britain:
• It was the day when:
• Employers gave “Christmas boxes” (money, food, or goods) to servants, tradespeople, and workers
• Churches opened alms boxes to distribute donations to the poor.
• It was a practical act of kindness after Christmas Day itself.

In essence, Boxing Day was:
• About service
• About gratitude
• About looking outward, once family celebrations were complete

[The modern sales culture came much later.]
🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁
What is St Stephen’s Day?

Boxing Day also coincides with St Stephen’s Day (also 26 December).

St Stephen is remembered as:
• The first Christian martyr
• A man known specifically for
• Caring for widows and the poor
• Fairness
• Quiet service
• Standing up for compassion, even when it was costly

In many European countries, the day is still called St Stephen’s Day, not Boxing Day.

So spiritually, the day carries a strong theme of:
• Compassion in action
• Helping those on the margins
• Living your values, not just speaking them
🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁 🎁
Whether you call it Boxing Day or St Stephen’s Day, the message is the same:

After celebration comes compassion.
After joy comes service.
After receiving comes giving.

So today gently reminds us:
after the celebration,
after the gifts,
after the noise…

comes care.

And for those who are tired, grieving, unwell, or quietly struggling —
your kindness might simply be rest, gentleness, or allowing yourself to receive.

✨ Sometimes giving means giving to others.
✨ Sometimes giving means giving yourself grace.

Today is not a day for power,
but for service, fairness, and compassion — especially towards those in need.

Whatever you are doing today, may you have the best day possible. X
