**The Hennessy Partnership - Fun & Games at Rye House**

Here at The Hennessy Partnership, our resident love taking part in fun and games.
Our service users had a brilliant day over at Rye House. Taking part along with our staff members, in thinking and coordination games that challenged hand-eye coordination, focus, and their teamwork—everyone gave it their all.
There was lots of concentration, plenty of laughter, and fantastic support for one another throughout.
Activities like these are a wonderful way to build confidence, strengthen communication, and develop cognitive skills in a fun and positive environment. 💙

**The Hennessy Partnership - Celebrating Our Faiths**

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered the holiest month in Islam. It commemorates the time when the Qur’an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. During Ramadan, Muslims observe 30 days of fasting from food and drink during daylight hours, alongside prayer, worship, charity, and self-reflection.

Lent is a solemn Christian season of preparation leading up to Easter. Lasting 40 days (excluding Sundays), it is observed by many Christian denominations. During this time, Christians often give up certain foods or habits, place an increased focus on prayer and spiritual life, and take part in acts of charity and repentance.
Here at The Hennessy Partnership, we are proud to support and embrace people of all faiths and beliefs—both the residents we support and the staff we work alongside.
From all of our services, we hope this season is a meaningful and reflective time for everyone. 💛

**The Hennessy Partnership - Pancake Day at Living Well Street**

Here at The Hennessy Partnership, our residents over at Living Well Street chose to celebrate Pancake Day on Shrove Tuesday—and what a lovely way to spend time together! 🥞
Cooking activities like this can have a particularly positive impact for people living with dementia, as familiar tasks such as stirring, pouring, frying, or setting the table often tap into long-term memories and procedural skills.
This activity was a wonderful success, bringing smiles, meaningful conversation, and a real sense of togetherness as everyone enjoyed the many pancakes made through shared effort. With favourite films playing softly in the background, it created a warm, homely atmosphere where residents could relax and connect with one another. 💛

**The Hennessy Partnership - Board Games with Bishops Way**

Here at The Hennessy Partnership, we love making sure our residents always have plenty to enjoy—especially when the weather isn’t playing ball! 🌧️
Recently at Bishops Way, some of our residents came together with staff to enjoy a friendly board game session, showing off their competitive sides over games of Monopoly and chess. Wins were celebrated, defeats were taken in good spirits, and most importantly… we’re all still friends! 😊♟️🎲

**The Hennessy Partnership - Valentines Day Preparations - Living Well Street**

Here at The Hennessy Partnership, our residents have been feeling the love with a little craft session. Over at Living Well Street, residents have been preparing decorations for Valentine’s Day. This is more than a creative activity. It is a meaningful experience.

Activities such as arts & crafts encourage social connection, stimulate memory, supports motor skills, and help residents feel included and valued. Our residents shared some of their own experiences of their own relationships, and as a result, a warm and welcoming environment was created celebrating love, belonging, and well being at every age.
