It helps maintain physical abilities like balance, strength, and mobility, encourages gentle social interaction, and can lift mood while reducing anxiety 💚

💧 Staying hydrated is key to health, comfort, and overall wellbeing—especially for older adults 💙
Here at The Hennessy Partnership, we support our residents to stay refreshed throughout the day with a variety of drinks and snacks—from water and fruit juices to tea, nourishing soups, and even a little jelly treat 🍓
Today, over at Tom Wroe & Poppy Walk, our residents got hands-on by making their own jelly bites! Not only is this a fun way to encourage hydration, but it also helps support fine motor skills and concentration—and of course, brought lots of smiles and enjoyment 😊

Here at The Hennessy Partnership, we’re continuing to promote Nutrition & Hydration Week across our homes. 💙

Supporting our residents to stay hydrated and enjoy a healthy diet is always a priority, and this week at Bishops Way we explored some refreshing new ideas.
Residents and staff came together to create delicious, infused water using lemons, limes, and oranges 🍋🍊—a simple and enjoyable way to encourage hydration. The finished drinks were placed in the dining room, allowing residents to help themselves throughout the day.
A refreshing success all round! 💧😊

Here at The Hennessy Partnership, our wonderful residents at Rye House have been getting green-fingered, planting up hanging baskets and adding a beautiful splash of colour to our outdoor spaces in preparation for the summer ahead. 🌼

From choosing their favourite flowers to getting hands-on with the soil, it’s been a joy to see everyone involved and enjoying the experience together.
Gardening isn’t just about creating something beautiful—it’s also a chance to relax, connect, and take pride in what you’ve grown. 💚

We can’t wait to see these baskets bloom over the coming weeks! 🌺

**The Hennessy Partnership – Nutrition & Hydration Party with Rye House**

Aloha from The Hennessy Partnership and Rye House! 🌴🌺
We had a fantastic time celebrating Nutrition & Hydration Week with a fun-filled Hawaiian-themed party. The home was full of tropical decorations, music, laughter, and plenty of smiles all around.

Residents enjoyed refreshing mocktails, sang along to their favourite songs, showed off their dance moves, and took part in some brilliant games—including the crowd favourite, “Pin the Coconut on the Palm Tree!” 🥥🎉

It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun while also promoting the importance of staying hydrated and enjoying nutritious refreshments in an engaging and meaningful way. 💧🍍

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so special! 💛

Over at The Hennessy Partnership, we’ve been celebrating St Patrick’s Day across our homes, with a splash of green, plenty of smiles, and a wonderful sense of community. ☘️💚

Residents and staff over at Living Well Street spent time decorating, enjoying music, and sharing stories that celebrate Irish culture and traditions. It’s was a lovely opportunity to connect, reminisce, and enjoy the day together.
