Sam knocked on the door hoping for a chat and to book an appointment, and as luck would have it, I had just had a cancellation. The session wasn't comfortable I'm sure she would agree but got easier and now it's great to see her pain free.

This is a review somebody has written but would prefer to remain anonymous. I thought twice about publishing it as I know fibromyalgia carries a lot of opinion.

I've worked with a number of people with a fibromyalgia diagnosis and know without doubt that Improvement can be made in the pain levels and other symptoms experienced.

Chronic pain is biopsychosocial and it's understanding that all of these elements need addressing, but one thing is for sure, doing nothing or just addressing one of the elements rarely helps.

All pain is biopsychosocial meaning
There is an element of
Of biological - tissue, damage, stiffness, injury etc
Psychological - life events, trauma etc
Social- what your doing on a day to day basis, lifting, sitting, being reclusive, sedentary, active.

Obviously there are more elements to each of the above. All 3 elements need to be addressed

Understanding how all this impacts your body can be the key to unlock your pain.

Everyone is different and all pain is different and personal to yiu and your experiences.
