Independent family run Funeral homes in Denmead, Clanfield and Wickham. The loss of a loved one is something we all face in our lives.

It is a difficult time and the last thing you need is the burden of organising the funeral. That’s why at South Downs Funeral service we offer a service providing all aspects of funeral care and arrangements beginning from the moment you contact us. We believe in providing a service to help ensure arrangements are as stress free as possible, leaving you free to be with your family and friends. We arrange funerals that reflect and incorporate the wishes of the individual, family and friends. We can advise on cremations and burials, choice of coffins and flower arrangements. We can even arrange to have the service at home or other suitable venue instead of the usual crematorium chapel service. Whatever you choose we can help you arrange it all, even a suitable venue for a gathering afterwards with any catering needs that might be required. So whether it is a simple funeral, a traditional funeral, an alternative funeral or an extravagant occasion, we are able to provide you with a totally personal and completely bespoke service. All our staff are fully trained, professional, sensitive and with genuine compassion to help you. Rest assured your calls will be taken with complete confidentiality. We can also arrange for a home visit if you are unable to come to us. Nothing is too much trouble and we pride ourselves on the service we provide feeling privileged to be chosen to take your loved one on their final journey. Our aim is to carry out your requests with the utmost dignity and attention to detail. We’re pleased to announce that our Denmead Funeral home is also supporting Spotlight UK!

Spotlight UK started in April 2009, their mission is to seek to relieve the needs of children and young people, their families and carers, who are suffering from a life-limiting condition or mental or physical disability by providing equipment, activities, and respite to advance their quality and condition of life.

Let’s put smiles on the faces of the Children by donating new and unwrapped toys for them for Christmas.

Congratulations to our Lady Funeral Directors Mrs Kerrie Davey and Miss Lucy Thomason on receiving their Diploma's in Funeral Directing.
