This is what goes on behind the scenes between group sessions. We don't just work our group opening times, we invest in our members in our own time too, lots of us juggling other jobs and family commitments but our members mean the world to us as does our community who haven’t yet found us.

Another 'did you know of such a thing' day...

International napping day! Now I'm up for taking part in that... can't beat a Nanna-nap 🤣! However it falls on the Day after the US daylight saving hours (clocks going forward) think the UK need to reconsider when we participate.

Sleep plays such an important role in helping us to lose weight. 'Snooze more, lose more'

My fabulous team mates met up and put their heads together, this is what goes on behind the scenes between groups, we don’t just work the hours our groups are actually open, planning and preparation between group is how we get the group magic to happen. Where else do you get this commitment for just £5.95/£5.65 per week?

I've not got dressed at all today... it's been a proper lazy day, alongside my role as a Slimming World Consultant I work in a primary school. Today is World Book Day and instead of dressing up as various characters our school had Pyjama Day... needless to say this has been the best day ever for me! Wearing my PJs and snuggly dressing gown all day then coming home and the only thing I've had to do to deschool myself is remove my underwear!

Have to say though, I am proud of myself for not snuggling up in the kids reading corner with the blanket and a good book 📖... oh well back to civvy clothing tomorrow 🤣
