Today, alongside our lovely local childminder Andrea Banyard Childminding Stanley and Huni from Flourish and Thrive were out in the community doing what they do best 🐾

Making connections, giving out pictures , padding around for cuddles, and spreading random acts of kindness everywhere they went.

Our support dogs offer so much more than a quick fuss. People can walk and talk with them, brush and groom them for calming sensory input, practise breathing while stroking them, read to them to build confidence, or simply sit quietly when words feel too heavy.

For children they build confidence and emotional regulation.
For adults they ease anxiety, reduce loneliness and bring moments of calm.

It’s amazing how a wagging tail and a gentle nuzzle from Stanley or Huni can brighten someone’s whole day 💛

We are so proud of the comfort and connection they bring to our community.
