🌿 A Morning of Simple Joy on Our Sofa2Stroll+ Walk 🌼

We felt super lucky on our Sofa2Stroll+ walk this morning … dry skies, carpets of beautiful snowdrops, and the kind of joyful conversations that lift the spirit. 💚

There was laughter, a little playful splashing in puddles, and that wonderful feeling of being fully present together in nature.

By the end, we all felt uplifted, energised, and ready to step into the rest of the day with brighter smiles and lighter hearts. 🌿✨

Sometimes it really is the simplest moments that make the biggest difference.

🌿Sunny Stroll Filled with Connection and Joy 🌞

We had such a wonderful Sofa2Stroll+ today, with bright sunshine and some lovely new faces joining our regular walkers. Although it was a little chilly and muddy underfoot, the cheerful birdsong, warm conversations, and the sheer beauty of nature all around us truly lifted the morning. 🍃🕊️

We finished in the best possible way … with a cosy hot drink in the nearby café, plenty of laughter, and that heart-warming feeling that comes from sharing both new and familiar connections. 💚☕

Moments like these remind us that even the simplest stroll can leave us feeling energised, uplifted, and more connected … to nature and to each other. 🌿✨

You have two lovely opportunities each month to join us, come to one, or enjoy both:

This reserve is well known for the spectacular display of snowdrops that appear in late winter and early spring. A visit to this special site is a must to enjoy the carpet of white that appears, giving hope that warmer times are on the way and spring is just around the corner.

💚We’d love to invite you to join us for our next Pause & Connect / Warm Space session, which the Mental Health Team will be hosting tomorrow!!- Thursday 29th January, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

These relaxed, drop-in sessions are all about taking a breather. We’ll have a chill-out zone with mindfulness activities, board and card games, some healthy(ish!) snacks, and calming music to help you unwind.

Whether you pop in for a short while or stay for the whole afternoon, we’d be so happy to see you there.
